My Twitter friend MatchboxGinny tweeted me this pic! HOW perfect!!
I predict: 2nd degree with Aggravated Child Abuse and it's going to take into tomorrow if not Wed.
LDB's closing was amazing.
Such a frustrating week for me!! GH can be so good, then so uneven and just plain plodding along that it baffles the mind. I felt like Thu...
I'm going with Miss Scarlet, with the Rope in the Conservatory.
ReplyDeleteJust a hunch...
You should figure on 1 hour per day of the trial plus 1 additional hour per week. So 42 days plus 7 weeks = 49 hours of deliberation. If they deliberate 10 hours a day, that would be almost 5 full days. Sooooo I'd expect a verdict Friday afternoon or Saturday.
ReplyDeletenice math there, kiddo! hahaha! i knew you had it in you...i agree with Karen, 2nd degree with aggravated child abuse...or criminal manslaughter...which has a death penalty too.
ReplyDeleteI agree with David.
ReplyDeleteGeneral Hospital 35th anniversary special part 4 is on you tube and it reminded me of good storytelling. It also had a nod to the quartermaines as they once were. great clip.
ReplyDeleteThe post was nice by Revathi
ReplyDeleteI want her to rot in prison her entire life. Give her poor mother a breath of relief. Or, alternatively since the death penalty costs tax payers more than life in prison, kill her the way Caylee was killed. So best guess put tape across her nose & mouth until she dies all while loooking into the eyes of someone that was supposed to protect her.
ReplyDeleteI hope she gets felony murder (1st degree) with the death penalty. I don't think she has the ability to feel sympathy or remorse for her actions so it will do no good for her to sit in jail.
ReplyDelete...and I agree, that LDB did an AMAZING job.
ReplyDelete@Melissa, what felony was she committing when Caylee died? the only way she could qualify for felony murder would be if she was in the process of committing a felony at the time of the murder.
ReplyDeletechild abuse is a felony
ReplyDeletei just heard on the radio that she was acquitted of all but provided false information to the police. what the hell? everyone knows she's guilty as sin.
ReplyDeleteWow. How sad that the most emotion she showed through this whole thing was when the verdict was read. I'm sorry, but that jury got it so wrong. Should have at least been guilty of manslaughter.
ReplyDeleteNOT GUILTY! STUNNING VERDICT! She only was found guilty of providing false info the police which is a misdemeanor. She will get probation probably which is no prison time. She is walking free.
ReplyDeleteWho actually represented Caylee?! A child has been murdered and no justice for her. I feel that the justice system fails children repeatedly in cases of child abuse and this is one more huge failure. All of that family is free to continue their lives as if caylee did not exist.SAD.
I guess the defense did a better job of creating reasonable doubt in the minds of the jury than we thought.
Speechless...
ReplyDeleteI just watched the defense attorneys speak and the lead said he saved a life today. I really hope he is right. I hope that she is innocent because I cannot entertain the thought of a killer free.
ReplyDeleteMy question is that if it wasn't casey then who killed caylee and disposed of the body? This case is still unsolved. Will police still investigate this or is this closed?
SHOCKED THAT THIS GIRL AS SET FREE
ReplyDeleteThe police think/know Casey did this. They won't do any more..especially since she SAID the baby drowned in the pool-- and her father covered it up. That's what the jury must have believed.
ReplyDeleteI am sad that it turned out this way. She is a killer mom and everyone knows it.
