Hang on ...but the Wall Street Journal is saying the announcement may come as early as MONDAY on the Couric Talk Show.
We all know what that's gonna mean....or potentially mean-- depending on when ABC wants to get that news out there.

Well we know GH is cancelled. More shakeups are coming at ABC. Who is leaving?

ReplyDeleteYes, Maurice did a part in Carmine Giovinazzo's movie, Duke. Maurice plays a part called "Winky." He has finished shooting his part.

ReplyDeleteYou know, ABC could totally keep GH-- and when Katie's talk show airs in the fall of 2012, if one of the other shows, CHEW or Revolution are doing bad, could be moved down to another time?? Who knows.
I've read they're just moving GH to an earlier time. Fingers crossed, I still enjoy watching GH! Hopefully they're not just stringing us along. I hope I'm not broken-hearted soon.

ReplyDeleteAlthough it would be possible to shuffle GH to a new time, I don't think that is what will happen. I think ABC wants out of scripted daytime television and will get rid of GH. We are seeing the same scenario that played out with OLTL and AMC, play out with GH ( new writer, and actors denying cancellation rumors ).I really want GH to stay and take a much improved storyline direction because I think its possible to get good ratings and revenue.However, I think ABC doesn't care about the soaps or its fans and has a plan set in motion. I really hope that I'm wrong and that they listen to fans.
