AH HELL NO! Scott Clifton??
Jamey Gibbons of Daytime Confidential is breaking news that Scott Clifton may be let go from OLTL. Since he's usually 100% correct, I tend to believe it. As most of you know, he played Dillon Q for years and I ADORE him. Right now he's playing Sky on OLTL...and doing a great job. This on the heels of Kim leaving and Stacey being killed off!! All I can hope for is that SC comes back to GH. He did tweet that yesterday was "the first day of the rest of his life"...(cue music)

Up and down week for me when it came to enjoyment. It seemed like things were shuffled up wrong in the editing room and it made me scratch...
I don't watch OLTL but had to comment on the photo of the bride you posted. Can we say implants? Geesh!

ReplyDeleteThat wedding dress on Kimmie is so trashtastic!!! She has a nice figure but that dress is so unflattering. I hope it is just the picture.
I guess GH better jump in and fix their boo boo. He can get to know his new step brothers and maybe hang out with Spinelli. He could use a friend that's not mob related.

ReplyDeleteHe should have never left GH. They should have brought him back instead of creating Ethan. He had great chemistry with Geary and it makes me hate Tracy to see how nice and thoughtful she is with Ethan when she treated her own sons like garbage.

Dillon: A true Quartermaine, Tracy's real son, Luke's stepson and could have easily been his sidekick.

Anon, I agree with your analysis of the whole Tracy/Ethan bonding. It really makes the way she has treated her own sons look even worse. I would love to see Dillon come back since it looks like there will be more Q time coming but I won't hold my breath. I do hope that Scott lands on his feet.

I've actually never thought that Kimmie had a good body. I think she is a beautiful girl, but with a so-so body and sometimes the costume staff at OLTL has had problems hiding this- particularly with this wedding dress! She looks very wide and very top heavy!
ReplyDeleteAs far as Scott Clifton, I hate that he has been let go, but it makes sense. With them pushing Gigi back with Rex and the baby actually being Oliver's, what storyline is left for Schuyler?
cyndib, I'll never forget how she tore into Lucky(GV) and defended Luke as a parent when she herself isn't exactly mother or child of the year! Notice her sons ran away from her... and who can forget the classic moment where she kept Edward's heart medicine from him.
ReplyDeleteWhen she went after Lucky, it was one of those times where I wish Laura was around to rip into Tracy.
Even still, Tracy has lost her edge.. she's been reduced to Luke's lapdog. They're both just really sad creatures now. They do the same scenes over and over again.
If they end up writing Ethan off, I hope before they do we find out that Luke was just conning him all along after Holly tipped him off and they never had an affair. Then he go back and apologize to his kids and Laura for lying. But with Guza still writing, I'm not holding my breath.
Now that they're bringing a younger set into the Q mansion it would be a perfect time to bring Dillon back.
ReplyDeleteI also don't like Ethan. deport him to Oz. I don't care how many rewrites they do, he just looks sleazy.he's not even a likeable con. No charisma at all. I don't see what Kristina sees in him at all. I could see her having a crush on Dillon or even Dante, but not Ethan. In fact I thought they were going that route when Dominic showed up at her houseafter taking Carley hostage.

ReplyDeleteI agree, I like Ethan & Kristina. They seemed to have changed something with him and intertwined him with many different poeple kind of testing the waters. he was gentle with Liz prior to her breakdown, helped Lucky, and then of course the Keifer/kristina story.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't have minded Ethan so much.. if it wasn't Luke's son. He should have been Robert and Holly's. It would have given Robin a brother, Mac a nephew and he still could have been Luke's sidekick.. a young con-artist learning "what Luke has to teach"
ReplyDeleteIt's just still hard to buy that the Luke we saw dancing in the Triple L Diner with Laura in 1993 had just cheated on her a little while before that.. I don't care if it was with Holly.
I really wish Scott Clifton well...really I wished he'd have not ever left GH....but after stupid 'Guza' killed off Georgie really what would Dillon have to do....sure he could be involved with someone else but it's not the same I really liked him with Georgie as well. Georgie should've never ever died...big mistake. She should've went off to college...now we get to see her ghost help out Maxie soon. So I guess (maybe??) this is Guza's way of saying it was a mistake though I know he'd never ever admit it period. Guza love's the Mob in PC ...not anything else will do. He can't write for couples or friendships/hospital storylines.....only Mob crap all of the time....or Sonny & Jason all of the time.... Anyway, sorry for my rant & rave....So good luck Scott...I'm sure you'll find something great soon!! Sue : )
