Tears...

OMG... Prince. What a icon he was in my life. I wore out 4 cassette tapes of Purple Rain. I wore the clothes. Not only did I listen to his 'popular' music, I really became a fan of his productions, writing and over all musical talent. He was so much more than a singer.

So sad. I feel like my 80's soul is just being crushed. Feeling Old. All I want to do is sit and listen/watch his videos.

It's been seven hours and thirteen days
Since you took your love away
I go out every night and sleep all day
Since you took your love away

  1. So heartbreaking. RIP my sweet Prince. I hope you and Bowie are rocking out in your crazy frocks in Rock and Roll Heaven.

  2. I couldn't believe it! I woke from a cat nap just as the news was coming on, I was in shock! His music was everything. Whether I was dancing in my car to Kiss or Raspberry Beret or crying over a break up to Purple Rain....his music was everything. RIP Prince ♡ :(

  4. What an awful year for musicians - death after death. Prince way too young. Best Superbowl half-time show ever. Great singer, guitarist and song writer. Can't believe he's gone.

  6. So sad about Prince. His music was the soundtrack for my latter elementary school and Jr. High years...1999 is gonna be more bittersweet each New Year's.

  10. I'm still upset by it all.. I'm going to have to buy some of his latest music. I just didn't get around to it.
I was in my crazy 20s when I was in love with his music and look. I still have a white lace "Prince Scarf" in my trunk! :) I wore it with a long navy coat. And PINS Lots of PINS

  11. I just watched four hours of Prince videos on VH1Classic. They really dug deep in the catalogue. there hasn't been a single repeat.
