Jason Patrick Goes to YR

It's true...what DC predicted when Jason said he was leaving GH! The character of Patrick Drake will not (as of now) be recast. It's presumed he's leaving with Robin.

Jason will be playing Billy Miller's old role on YR.

Follow this: Billy is playing a Jason, and Jason is playing a Billy--once played by...BILLY.

Good Lord these two soaps are just musical chairs.

  1. I'm sorry he left GH because I am a JaSam fan but I really fell in love with Samtrick!! You can feel the friendship the 2 actors have much like Kelly with Steve Burton. I am not feeling the Sam and Jason chemistry yet, mostly because he is still Jake. He was Jake for over a year and he still is!!!Will he suddenly remember once he sees robin? Remains to be seen. anyway at least we can still see Jason Thompson onscreen as I am also a Y&R fan!!!

  2. Well, he's not the captain so there's no need for him to go down with the ship. I wish him well.

    Hahaha very ironic. :)

  4. Good for him. Great actor whose character floundered after KM left GH...they were great together and the writers just didn't know what to do with him. Maybe he will get some scenes with Tristan on Y&R and bring the circle complete :)

Listen, this is what they need to do with the Robin, Patrick, and Emma characters. Have them move to NYC to get a fresh start as a family. The Drake-Scorpios get a happy ending...KM and the actress that plays Emma can make guest appearances visiting Anna in PC. Hell, Emma can probably log just as much screen time doing weekend trips to see Grandma Anna as she does now as a resident of PC. Also, while Tristan is back they need to have the Robert character quit field work to take a job with the FBI in NYC. The audience can take comfort that although we won't see Tristan onscreen much, that the character is still a part of Robin's life in Manhattan.

    This stuff just writes itself!

  5. why does there have to be closure for Patrick at all? Why not just stop writing for him and stop mentioning him? The writers have done that with so many other characters.

Mac and Felicia. Are they ever mentioned? no. are they ever on screen? no. Are they still in PC? yes

Brad and Rosalie. Are they ever mentioned? no. are they ever on screen? no. Are they still in PC? yes

Lucy Coe. Is she ever mentioned? no. Is she ever on screen? no. Is she still in PC? yes

The new SORAS Joss. Is she ever mentioned? no. Is she ever on screen? no. Is she still in PC? yes

See? They can just stop writing for the character and pretend he doesn't exist and let the actor fade away. And since the writers and the producers DO NOT listen to the fans, no one will be the wiser, right?

(ps. this all started with Anne Logan. She went away for a summer vacation down the shore, never to be seen or heard from again!)

  6. Jason Thompson (not Jason Patrick) belongs in the movies. He is that talented.,

  7. Wally Kurth has been taken off contract at Days and relegated to "reoccurring"? GH should do whatever it takes to put him back on contract ASAP. We need a leading man who can act and is not a mobster. Time to bring back Jax and use Lucas more, for the same reasons. Also, time to reveal that Paul is actually undercover...is actually a good guy. Perhaps that reveal can happen when Roberts returns.

  8. David: They mentioned Anne Logan again a couple of years ago when she stole Noah from Bobbie off screen (when Bobbie returned back to PC after the 50th anniversary). It was meant as kind of a joke for long time viewers, I guess, but she and Noah are together last time we heard.
