Sunday Surgery: 9 To 5

 

Hopefully short and sweet (like me) this week because I'm busy busy!! Because there wasn't a lot of spy-action, I actually enjoyed much of it!!

In The Drink

 

FRIDAY!! It's time...and I'm hoping it's a good one today. I think the SPY-GAME is on so I'm not hopeful. 

TODAY!: 

Britt wakes up alone after having eaten chips and a pitcher of margaritas "Damn you Jason Morgan". Stupid Desk guy calls her from the LAB to get to the LAB. :eyeroll: She puts Jason's burner phone in a box in her room. Goes to the lab. Notices Gustov and Tomas guarding a room (Joss and Vaughn) and asks what's going on. He says get to work. She leaves. Then goes back and gets Tomas to move her server in the LAB. Opens the door. Sees Voss tied up. Joss: HELP US! Britt locks the door runs back out. Yep. Classic Soap 101 

Kai overhears Drew and Curtis arguing and Drew is mean. They talk about what he did to Stella. Kai seems upset. Hard to tell. Curtis says he'll see Drew dead and leaves. Then Kai comes in and tells Drew that he really likes Stella, she was nice to him. Drew leaves. Kai stays to straighten things up. He calls and says that Drew wants an update on the Stella Henry case. They tell him. He realizes Drew is behind it all. 

Willow tells Liz she's getting back together with Drew. Elizabeth is like WTF...are you kidding me? Willow thinks he's the only one that can get her kids back for her. Liz tries to push back but Willow's so dumb she's like I JUST WANNA SEE MY KIDS. She also says that if Drew could get the place in Germany not to let her see Michael, he can do anything. She gets weird dreamy looks on her face. Oh, she's just gone. 

That Judge lady runs into Chase at Bobbie's. She says good testimony in some case. He says he had info on Willow for her. She's like, can't hear it. He says it's just background stuff. She says ok. He says she's a WONDERFUL mother. They talk a bit. He leaves. She calls someone. (probs Sidwell) Says there's trouble.

Carly is angry with Danny and Rocco. They are in her office. Oh, she's not--she just tells them summer work is done, come back next year. Asks Danny about Jason. He says he's coming home. He doesn't want him too because when he was gone, they couldn't serve him the restraining order as he's a minor so he can still see Scout. When he comes home, he won't be able to. Carly isn't happy that Drew had restraining orders out against a bunch of people. Drew walks in. Snarky to the boys. Carly gets snarky back. They leave. Drew tells Carly she needs to worry about Michael. Tells her about the Sonny bribe and she has to tell Michael to take the deal. 

Portia and Isaiah still makin' da WUB......Portia is sure enjoying herself. They get dressed. No regrets but they can't do it in the office again. She's his boss. Trina comes in.  Damn it, a little late. So Isaiah leaves and Portia ends up telling Trina about the whole Drew blackmail stuff. Trina's pissed about what happened and what Drew made her mother do.

Who's Minding the Patients?

 

So, it's a gorgeous day here! Kids are getting ready for back to school next week (yikes) -- and I'm hoping it stretches a bit longer. Deck time is the best. 

THE SHOW: 

Martin goes to ask Tracey for help with Stella. He tells her she's been arrested for fraud and needs her to talk to the board at GH to get behind her. She says of course. Also he says it's DREW CAIN'S fault she's in this mess. They bicker about Martin telling Drew about Stella's help.  He says it's all her fault because he'd never be doing this if Martin was around and she had him thrown in jail and such and he had to work for Drew for money. She calls him a baffoon and they decide to help Stella but on their own. It's better that way. Marty leaves. 

Stella won't talk until her attorney is there. Trina comes into the station but can't see her aunt. Alexis walks in with Sonny. She can see Stella. Alexis finds out the feds were so eager they forgot to have the judge sign off and they have to go get that. She talks to Stella and tells her Trina and Sonny are there and she's not alone. 

Trina and Sonny talk about Stella's arrest. She's glad he's there. They both go talk to Stella. Sonny is told by her (off camera) to stay out of it. Trina goes in. 

Brook Lyn talks to Dante in the hallway of the PCPD about Gio. Poor Gio is suffering because his mom is dead and yada yada. "He needs you" she says. Dante leaves to go see Gio. They talk about Camilla's birthday being by Labor Day and how they used to have a big party for it. Gio wonders if Dante hates his mother for not telling him the truth. 

Gio talks to his mama in heaven in the church. "Your favorite move was Fantasia".. See, now you have some Trivia! Dante walks in. 

Portia is being a jealous bitch to Curtis because she says he JUST LOVES how closely he can work with Jordan since Stella got arrested. She's being SUPER unreasonable. Curtis tells her it's all her fault this is happening with Drew in the first place and now he's going after Aunt Stella. She starts crying about how Curtis is faking his love for her and really loves Jordan. She's a 'rebound' love. They keep arguing and Curtis admits he still resents her for not telling him about Trina. She tells him not to leave--he does. She cries. 

Jordan is in GH looking for Curtis. Isaiah is all: HE'S WITH HIS WIFFFFFFE. She's like: Um ok, I have news about Stella. He says it's clear they have feelings for each other. He asks if she thinks Curtis has feelings for her. She says no..he says not true and the reason they didn't work out was because she still loves Curtis. 

Then Curtis walks out of the elevator. Isaiah is like: SEE? He leaves Jordan tells Curtis her people told her a tip came in on Stella from a high up politician.

Over in Portia's office, she throws her wedding photo hard, screams and can't get her wedding ring off. Isaiah comes in. 

Marco goes to talk to his Dad. Tells him he told Drew about Sonny paying off the judge. Sidwell goes ballistic. Marco thought if Drew knew, he'd tell Michael and Michael will hate Sonny for it. (remember Sidwell paid for the judge, not Sonny). Sidwell just screams that he was keeping that info to get the piers and it was SO WRONG to do what he did. 

Drew goes into talk to Michael about his kids. Calls his office "Slumming it" while Curtis has a great corner one. He tells Michael he WILL TAKE WILEY AND AMELIA to see THEIR MOTHER tomorrow and EVERY DAY--and apologize. Michael's like: HUH? He says, I found out that judge was BOUGHT AND PAID FOR! If he doesn't do it, Drew will go to the courts and he'll lose ALL rights. Better to take the 50/50 custody deal he's offering. Michael says nope, you don't have proof or if you do it's fake. Drew says he will rue the day he turned this down.

Drew goes out to call and find where Carly Spencer is. 

Sonny comes in to talk to Michael. Michael tells him Drew is coming for the kids and using Sonny to do it.

Downstairs

 

RAIN today! that's a good thing and I think it's going to be cool for the next week or so. I'm sure when school starts it will go up to the 90s again. Always happens! You know, if I could watch this show and just not watch the FIVE POPPIES SPY part, I might be happier!! LOL 

TODAY'S SHOW: 

Marco and Gio are at the church to light candles for their mothers--one for memory one because it's her birthday. They talk about moms and such. Marco leaves. Brook comes in with flowers for Camilla's birthday. She and Gio talk about her. 

Molly is talking to Krissy about paying Cody. It's the next day btw. Sun is out...Sonny comes to the door too. Kristina answers. He wants to ask Molly about ADA Turner. Kristina tries to get them out of the house. 

Alexis is in the basement. Ric says: THANK GOD YOU FOUND ME! hahahaha. He tells her he thinks Ava hit him on the head and he did take all her money but if he can get out, they'll be rid of her once and for all. Alexis laughs. He says ARE YOU IN ON THIS TOO? She says YEP because Ava got to her first and offered the car keys and footage. He's like what are you going to do once you get those? KILL ME? She says no, they are keeping him until the bonds mature and then grabbing them. They'll let him go then and he can't go to the police because of his role in all of this. Alexis leaves. 

Alexis talks to Sonny about Drew and the restraining order. He says Drew is going to get his soon. 

Kristina goes down to the basement to bicker to Ric. Tells him no one will miss him. Maybe Molly will but they'll explain why he's gone. 

Curtis and Portia are worried about Stella. 

Stella tells Isaiah she's not worried about the feds because she did 'nothing wrong'.  The feds come in and tell her to stop working. Isaiah runs to Portia and Curtis. Stella gets arrested. Curtis can't get ahold of Alexis so he calls Jordan. Jordan comes in and throws around her former mayor position and says she called someone at the DEA and to wait a minute. BUT--they take her anyway, they get the green light. 

Lucas talks to Ava in the hallway of GH. She says she needs his help. She can't sleep and needs sleeping pills and her doctor is out for awhile. He says sure, he'll give her some for a month. (I think for RIC !!) 

Lucas and Liz talk about him living with Ava. He likes it because they love wine and trashy reality TV lol. Liz says she bets he wants to live with Marco. He says maybe some day. 

Sidwell and Lucy talk about the company. He says stock is falling rapidly but HE CAN HELP. 

Marco goes to Sidwell and says he has to blast Sonny in for bribing the judge (Sidwell really did it but Marco doesn't know). Sidwell bides for time. 

Drew and Willow meet at The Grille and she says she only has Ric, Elizabeth and hopefully DREW as her allies. WTFFFFFFFK What. She says Kristina was mean to her and called her a bad mother. He says he'll get her kids back. Then Nina stomps in: WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH HIM? she yells at Willow. Willow says it's Nina's fault she lost her family. If she had told her sooner about sleeping with Drew, this never would have happened. DREW told her that NINA didn't want to tell Willow but he did. OMG Willow is sooooooooo stupid.  She tells Drew she will go back with him but ONLY IF HER KIDS ARE BACK. She stomps out. Nina gives Drew a death stare. Then she threatens him!!! BIG TIME and Marco hears it.

Marco says he has information on Sonny for him. Sidwell is going to be PISSED tomorrow 

Stella is taken to the PCPD and Curtis thanks Jordan. Portia gets all mad. (dumb)

Tied UP

 

I'm not sure how long I can stay today but I wanted to be here for the Ava knocking Ric out. Hopefully he's just knocked out because... it's RIC!! 

SHOW: 

Joss is tied up by that hotel guy. I honestly forgot about her. She demands to be released. Guy says no. 

Colette comes into Brennan's office and demands that the whole thing be called off. He says no. She brings up Carly. He threatens her. He leaves. Colette tries to get into the safe but needs the combo. Calls Hotel Guy and tells him to get it from Josslyn. Then he brings Vaughn in. Beats him, gets a drill out and Joss is saying No.. help.. what.. derp. It's so bad. Then Joss breaks and gives them a combination. I think it's false. 

Anna calls Brennan from The Brown Dog and sounds drunk. She wants to know what happened to Joss. He tells her nothing. Then he shows up there. She's having another one. She's upset about Maxie. She's worried about Josslyn. WEIRD. She says Josslyn has no idea what she's getting into. She could lose her freedom and her family. She talks about her bad decisions. Faison, being a double agent. 

Dante visits Cody with beer. Dante knows Comas. Then he tells Dante about the Ava kiss for money. Cody is upset he did that, but it was partly for Molly. 

Sidwell and Lucy are out to dinner and she's sad about Mxie. He pretends to be sad too. Lucy says life is short. He says they have to keep Deception going. Lucy says social media is blaming the cream for Maxie's collapse. She's glad to have someone to talk to and plan with. He invites her to Wyndemere. She says thank you no, I have to go to the hospital. 

Molly called Michael to The Grille to tell him about Alexis and Drew's fight. She wonders what happened to Drew. He says he has to be stopped. Molly tells Michael about Cody and Ava. She also explains Cody says it was Kristina's idea. Michael says she was probably doing something nice for her and she's her sister so....

Kristina is looking at Ava like: What did you do? Ava says: well, he could still be alive! Then, Alexis walks in.  Ric has a pulse. Alexis says he can't die there, what would Molly say? Then she goes to call 911 and Ava stops her. They talk about what happened when Ric got there. Ava reminds Alexis that Kristina also tried to kill him awhile ago. Can't call the cops. Kristina says that Alexis could go down for embezzlement and that Ava will go down for blackmail and attempted murder.

I think Joss and Vaughn did some sort of code thing on the safe combo. 

EMOTIONAL DAMAGE

 

Maxie has to be moved to a long care coma facility. Spin freaks the hell out. He says No. Lucas says Boston is the best place. Spin begs Flea and Mac to keep her here (he's not next of kin so he can't decide). They decide to let her go.

Lulu and Maxie are taking the kids to GH to see Maxie off before she goes to Boston. Maxie calls Cody to come too. 

Alexis meets Drew at The Grille and tries to make peace. She's being all nice then SOME LADY WALKS IN AND SERVES her with papers! ahahaha. It's a restraining order!!  He has one for: Rocco, Danny, Alexis, Krissy and Molly!! Alexis is pissssssssed. He says it's all her fault, not his. He talks about Jason the thug and how Danny's a thug now too and Alexis pounds on the table and tells him to shut up!! She's had enough. WOW..Molly comes in. It escalates. He calls her a drunk and he's a congressman, good luck! She says he might not make it long enough to see what happens. UT OH... Alexis leaves. Molly says Sam would hate this and Scout will too someday.

Molly sees Ava kissing Cody. He says stop! I did it for you.. Molly's like: WHAT? Ava's like: HUH? He tells them the whole story about Kristina paying him!! Ava is piSssssssssssssssed! She leaves. Molly is mad and leaves. Cody gets a call to go to GH to see Maxie. 

Ric and Krissy spar at Alexis' house. She tells him she knows he's been blackmailing her mother. He really baits her and says she needs to be in JAIL. She says she had trauma: Losing the baby, Sam and then Michael being burned. Ric reminds her Molly had all those traumas too and Krissy was ALSO GOING TO TAKE HER BABY! He keeps yelling. She sees a letter opener but puts it back down. KNOCK KNOCK..Ava storms in. OMG she tells Ric about Krissy's plan to break them up. Kristina calls Ava soul-less and other things. Everyone is  yelling. 

Marty and Laura have dinner (??) at The Grille . She likes him living with her. He tells her about the Drew situation and about the insurance thing with Stella. He says he isn't working for Drew anymore and won't have money so he'll have to stay with her longer. They watch Alexis and Drew argue. He tells Laura she HAS to win the mayoral race because Drew will manipulate Ezra. 

Britt and Jason in THE POPPIES. She tells him to leave. He's like NOPE. (boring actually) She's also jealous he went out with Greata "Euro Trash". He says he was working her for information. More talk. He says he'll take her anywhere she wants to go. They get THISCLOSE (like they might kiss)

LATER: 
At the hospital: Georgie, James, Cody, Felicia, Spin, Mac, Brook and Lulu. CHARLOTTE is taking care of Bailey Lu!! ahahha. CHARLOTTE MENTION! 

James, Cody and Mac Daddy go in. I'm cryin' a little. Yep. James gives her the badge she gave him when he broke his arm (It was Nathan's)

Sunday Surgery: When In Doubt: Coma

 NOTE: I went out last night to a Music Festival and had such a great time, I guess I thought it was Saturday--and today was Sunday. Here you go: EARLY SURGERY! Ha ha. 

Oh man. Watching Kristina Wagner at Maxie's bedside was just heartwrenching. We all know her tragic backstory in real life and this has to be so hard. She did such a great job with the entire thing and made every scene so poignant. 

GH was fired up this week compared to the last few so we do have some stuff to discuss. We have SUCH great actors and when dialog is on point, you can't beat it. I'm going to dive right in. Grab something good and let's GO GO!

Yesterday's Show impressions:

KW is KILLIN' me. I just keep thinking about her in real life and how hard this must be. Dang. 

Loved Tracey doing the whole horse lady. Rich people DO take care of the horses if they need to! 

RAVA NEEDS TO BE A THING. I'm not happy about this Elizabeth thing. Ava and Ric are perfect for each other.  "Everything he does makes me sick" says Nina ahahaha.

And again, I'm saying this: I LOVE MEK on the show.

Maura and Cynthia look resplendent.

Cam M is diggin' his heels and face and eyeballs ALL INTO being mean. 

And.. yeah, the whimsy of Molly's fantasy is ok with me. Better than listening to people go over the same stuff over and over again. 

TODAY'S SHOW: 

Brennan fixes Carly's garbage disposal. Yes, that's true. Not snark. He gets a text from Vaughn. Carly tells him about Maxie being in GH. Then talks about her kids. 

Willow's a bitch to Nina but Ric tells her she has to get some FAMILY references for her court case so will she relent? Oh she asks Krissy when she comes in with flowers for Maxie. Willow has a sob story for her and Krissy says, sorry--Michael is my brother. EPIC WILLOW TAKE DOWN! Krissy calls her the worst mother ever. Willow runs and Cries. Liz takes Kristina into the break room and reminds her about 'rash decisions' and she CUT THE BRAKE LINES on Ava's car. OHHHHH DUN DUN DUN. Kristina asks if she's blackmailing her. Liz says no, just show some grace to Willow like I showed you. 

Nina tells Ric that Willow was talking to Drew. She says he has to tell Willow it's forbidden and will hurt her case if she does. He says you want me to lie? She's like: YEP. 

Cody and Ava. Ava basically won't let Cody get a word in about what he's really up to. Keeps interrupting her. Says the Davis girls are awful. He says Molly is nice. She's like, nope she might be the worst of the bunch! She says she's going to stay with Ric because it makes them all so mad. He says: well, what if there's a better idea? OH SOME ZEXY SEX! 

Molly tells Michael she has feelings for Cody. He listens. He says: Yep, you do. Lots of Cody stories. He says she should tell him how she feels. Oh I have a feeling she's going to walk in on Ava and CODY! 

Lulu's vacuuming for Maxie while Spin and the kids are at the hospital. Laura comes by. Lulu says she's scared. They hug. Laura's concerned. Lulu's upset. yada yada. Lulu has coma trauma.They talk about the coma. Bedside coma. 

Jason is meeting that mule chick that dropped the backpack off to Britt. Today he has on a white suit! He talks to her and Britt listens with a gag-face on. Jason says he's a contractor for ELQ. Britt is caught by Gustav listening. He says he asked Greta (mule lady)  to check out Jason because he could be the WSB. 
Jason and Greta leave just when Joss sees them. 

Joss and Vaughn can't find Britt (even tho she's RIGHT THERE). They are dressed like Tennis Dolls today. Vaughn texts Brennan (who's with Carly) and Joss goes to make ONE LAST SWEEP of the resort.

TR Memorial

 OUT TODAY SO PLEASE ENJOY: 

The Dashing Tristan Rogers 

There have been so many tributes to the late TR that it's hard to find something unique to put into words about the actor. If you were around and watching General Hospital in the 1980s, you'll know the impact he had on our viewing. This was years before "Crocodile Dundee" and the whole Aussie craze. This was also the beginning of the 'adventure-spy' genre on soaps. Who can describe seeing a suave, charismatic character like Robert Scorpio and him justice? 

Parry Shen (Brad) wrote about seeing Tristan on his screen when he was 8 years old. He grabbed a book and wrote down "Tristan Rogers" because he loved what he was seeing on screen. It was all so unique. Years later, on set, he told the story to Tristan and asked for his autograph.  Another GH alumni, Lisa LoCicero had talked about being such a fan that when she had a scene with Tristan, she was so star-struck it was hard for her to get through it all.

Tristan has a star on the Palm Springs "Walk of the Stars" in the category of Entertainment and Humanitarian. This was awarded in 2024. 

WUBS Fave Anna/Robert scenes. Sexy and fun. WOW. I remember thinking: This is Daytime TV!!?? Very spicy for the time. 

Anthony Geary left a memorial passage to him and it's available on TV Insider. He compares their duo to "Butch Cassady and The Sundance Kid".  It really was like the ultimate buddy movie but on a soap. Can't describe it unless you saw it! 

I could put up a thousand more photos but I think the best thing to say is have a search on YouTube for some of his best work. We were also blessed that he decided to do one last appearance this summer for us. 

FRAUD

 

It's Wednesday--and I'm here today but not tomorrow so I'll make this a goodie. (hopefully). I have to say that after 3 weeks of NOTHING we are at least seeing some movement and things. Heart attack, killing a guy and throwing him off a cliff, JaBritt reunion, Nina in the pool..And poor Stella with the insurance fraud. 

TODAY: 

Curtis is talking to Alexis about Stella's case and Stella walks in. She's not happy to see Alexis. She thinks having a lawyer makes her look guilty. Alexis says she really should have one. Stella agrees. Stella tells her she did fudge some dates so patients got insurance and Alexis says: Welp, that IS Fraud! Stella goes over the people she helped and when she gets to Drew Cain, Curtis' wheels turn.

Drew is at the pool, taking to Gio who isn't nice to him. He walks off and Drew and Marty discuss the Michael situation. Marty doesn't think his eye is really an 'assault". He realizes Drew just did it as strategy to get Willow back. He tells Martin he's the one that turned Stella in for fraud. 

Michael is at the PCPD with Diane to talk to Turner. Sonny wants to talk to her privately first. He says "you heard Drew say he provoked Michael, Michael is innocent". ADA says she's not sure.Also says she can't go after Michael because she overheard the blackmail. Then Drew comes in and is an ass. WANTS Michael handcuffed. Chase says not one of the 8 people he interviewed saw Michael slug Drew. Drew says someone paid people off or Chase was not correct. Then he says that Martin saw the whole thing. 

Maxie is on a ventilator. Lucas is concerned she's not awake yet. Spin and Lulu hug outside her room. Lucas tells them all her tests look good. Her heart is ok. Blood work is ok. Spin goes in and Lulu goes to tell the kids the update. Spin tells Maxie once she wakes up he wants to marry her. 

Lulu goes to Maxie's house. Emma goes home. When Lulu is walking around, Dr O comes to the door.  She says she'd leave but she wanted to reassure James. Lulu lets her come in. James and Georgie are running around. Georgie lets slip that Mom is in the hospital. James didn't know.

Mac, Felicia and Drew are in the breakroom and Mac can't figure out why Maxie's heart would start failing now. They say she HAS to be ok. Anna then comes in (Cody and Mac are gone) and they talk about Maxie. Crying. 

Mac and Cody have a great talk in the hall outside of Maxie's room. Awww. 

END: 

Lulu thanks Dr O and Dr O says that longer Maxie doesn't wake up the more likely she'll be in a coma. 

Lucas tells everyone that Maxie had some enzyme in her blood. Don't know what it is yet. Anna pulls him aside and wonders if she could have been poisoned. 

Curtis figures out Drew is having Stella investigated.

Marty doesn't sign the witness statement just yet. 

Tuesday THE SHOW!! I'm HERE!

 

I made it here!! It was a good day. The kids were fun. It's DINOSAUR WEEK so..RAWR!! LET'S GO! 

Diane is with Sonny and Michael to talk about the assault against Drew. She says it was a terrible idea and could be bad news. Because he asked Tracey to take Wiley out of the pool area, it may look like it was premeditated. They try to talk strategy. Michael tells them he suspects Willow was the one messing with Daisy but he has no evidence. 

Drew is at GH telling Liz he has to see a doctor NOW. She says, it's not that big of a deal, go to urgent care, this is an EMERGENCY ROOM! He says I might LOSE MY VISION!! She's like, calm it down. You can report it. He's like great, that's what I want. Felicia gives him the forms. 

Carly and Lulu talk at the pool about Dr. O going to the other hotel. Then Nina walks in and Carly screams at her about not telling Willow she slept with Drew. They yell and yell and Carly ends up pushing Nina into the pool. 

Maxie faints. They call 911. The emergency people say she might be having a heart attack. She goes to GH and Felicia sees her, so does Lucas. They do CPR.  Lucy runs in and hugs Felicia. Then Spinelli comes in too.  Brook and Luna get there. Lulu calls Emma to go check on the kids. Spinelli is in shock. Everyone is waiting. 

Maxie is being shocked by Lucas and Liz is in there too. They work on her A LOT. FINALLY she has a pulse!! 

Anna is wondering why Brennan didn't call her. ADA Turner comes in and says she wants to open an investigation into Drew Cain. Anna says "is this a trap"?? Turner says she has reason to believe Drew is doing bad things but can't say why. She almost tells her and Drew busts in saying he wants to press charges against Michael Corinthos. Anna's like: are you kidding? then ADA jumps in and says: YEP let him tell us what happened. I think she's doing this on purpose to trap him. 

Joss and Vaughn are in the shower, they make out big time. Still no chem for me. Sorry. Oh they move to the bed!! I guess this is sexy. Okay. whatever. Then they just get up and talk about the case. Awkward. They decide to talk to Britt asap because the guy they killed will be missed soon. They go to look for her. Oh, they do get dressed first. Oh, wait, THEN they decide not to go until morning. Awkward looks towards the bed. 

Britt and Jason. Jason's suit matches his eyes. He tells her he saw her in Paris. She's like great, now I can't go back there. He asks if she's in danger. They go over their whole relationship and if you want to get the skivvy, watch it. He asks her how she survived the HOOK thing. She asks how HE survived. Jason tells her about becoming an informant. She figures out it was to save CARLY! Always CARLY. The she gets mad, says he doesn't deserve to know what happened to her and she's not going to forgive him for leaving her and marrying Carly. She says she left to spare her family from seeing her suffer. She's in remission now. Jason asks how can that be? Huntington's isn't curable. She says he has no right to know. Then, he tells her the WSB is there and she's in danger. Britt tells him to leave or she'll call security. He's like: DO IT.

END: 

Everyone is happy Maxie is ok. Wondering what could have caused it. The cream? Allergy? Lucy says they all tested it and have used it a lot. Can't be that. 

Michael needs a witness they can use to say Drew went over to Wiley first. 

Carly yells at Nina: You'll never see MY grandchildren again! 

Joss goes to sleep while Vaughn keeps guard. 

Britt throws Jason out and calls someone and says they have a problem-- 

It's Been A WEEK and It's TUESDAY!

 

Yes, I'm still busy with the 2 year olds and yesterday was a trip! They ran around joyfully while I crawled and limped trying to catch them HAHAHA. 

Again, I might be here, I might not!! Who knows. Yesterday I did make it. I think Thursday will be my challenge day.

General Announcement==MONDAY I'm here!

 

So this week I'm subbing for 3 days with the 2 year olds. I'm hopeful I will be in one piece to blog on Mon/Tuesday. Thursday is an iffy one because the level of energy in those groups are OUT OF THIS WORLD. 

Here's to me making some live blogging today. If not, you know what to do.  Have a good one and eat ice cream if you can! 

I'm here and ... GUESS WHAT!!? Ryan Pavey is back but NOT AS NATHAN WEST! Yep, TV Line just said so.  TAKE A GANDER:  TV LINE  This on a day when Maxie faints. I think Sidwell will poison her. 

TODAY'S SHOW: 

Portia and Curtis in bed. They talk about moving forward and how things will be better now. Jordan calls. (I think about Stella).

Sidwell is with Lucy at Wyndemere-- they are all flirty. She tells him she's going to Home and Hearth set. He's like IS MAXIE JONES THERE? Dun dun dun. Lucy and he kiss as Marco comes in. She leaves. 

Home and Heart. Brook talks to Luna about Lois. Maxie is in the make up chair and tells Martin that she might go against everyone and tell about the dirty money. He says there are laws to protect whistleblowers but all the ladies in the company would not be happy and she'd lose them all. 

MORE BROOK AND Luna talk about Gio and Lois. good lord. Then Brook asks Maxie why she was talking to Marty. Lucy wants to know too. Maxie makes up a dumb excuse.  Then Maxie and Lucy go on camera to sell Youth cream. 

Stella talks to the fraud squad at GH. Felicia tells her to get a lawyer. Stella says NO. Ugh! Then Portia and Curtis arrive.  Marty shows up as well. Goes in as her lawyer and they tell him NOPE, you can represent her because you're a person of interest in this too! 

Drew is blackmailing Sonny and ADA Turner overhears. Drew wants Michael to give visitation to Willow now, Sonny has to sell the piers and leave town.  Sonny says no matter what, Willow's not coming back to him. Drew leaves. Turner is like: I can't believe he did that!! Sonny says she can't say anything because she was having dinner with him and it would kill her career. Turner is all sympathy to Sonny-- "those op eds were brutal to you and you are the one getting blackmailed" Oh BROTHER :EYEROLL: 

Then Drew goes to Wyndemere to tell Sidwell about the Sonny situation. He thinks he's go things under control. He wants Michael IN JAIL so Willow gets full custody. Sidwell is like, not so fast. Might not be to our favor. 

THE FIVE POPPIES

Britt runs to her room. Jason stares. He goes to the bar. Britt goes to her room and gets upset. 

Joss shoots the guy in the throat. He's not dying fast so Vaughn puts a pillow over his face. Kills him. Says they are compromised and have to leave. Joss is all yappy and says NO! Britt might tell her what's going on!! Vaughn agrees to stall for 24 hours. They have to get rid of the body over the cliff. Oh they do it in 2 seconds and Joss sees blood on her hands. Pauses. Has to go take a shower. 

END: 

Vaughn goes and sits next to Joss who's fully clothed and losing it in the shower over the dead guy. 

Jason goes into Britt's room stares at her. 

Maxie passes out on the set of Deception

The FBI guys tells Portia that their investigation is coming from "higher up" I think MARTY realizes he told Drew about it. 

Sunday Surgery: Negative Chemistry

This will be a hard blog because of the news about Tristan's passing. There will be a tribute blog up next week.

Just heartbroken. Tristan Rogers has passed away from Lung Cancer.  Long in our hearts as the dashing Robert Scorpio, we last saw him in a cameo when he appeared during Sofia Mattsson's last scenes on GH. 

Robert was a dashing, wonderfully charming character that broke on the scene in 1980 during the hey-day of Luke and Laura. Coming from Australia was another bonus, as we rarely saw actors from there on our soaps. I will be doing a tribute blog to Tristan in the future because his acting and career on GH meant so much to so many of us.

Sending wishes to his family, friends and GH coworkers. Cheers to you. Or as Robert would say: Here's to mud in your eye (From the Bucket of Blood days with Luke)

Jordan's new apartment! I like it better than ANNA'S PLACE, that's for sure-- Anna's decor is ugh. I can see they are setting up the money dynamic. Pricey place, pricey interior decorator. 

Most people said don't even bother watching Thursdays' show. But Here I am. Trina with Stella? UGH come on now. I LOVE that Stella but seriously? And Kai is with Drew again. Hope he does go out to DC. 

Laura and Ezra ... I really wish I cared. 

Molly and ADA lady--I still never know her first name. DA Turner, I know. She's pretty and all that but Sonny's had 90 women like that. 

Donna wants Gio to play the violin and she's going to sing for her birthday in Sept!! 

BROOK LYN'S DRESS TODAY--- come on now!! Doesn't that woman OWN ANY COLOR? I get the modesty but-- ooofff. 

Isaiah trying to get in between Portia and Curtis? WHY ISN'T HE WITH JORDAN OR LIZ? WHY DO THIS? It's not really that soapy btw.

MUCH to do today-- working all day so not sure I'll make it here!! I'm doing a lot this end of the month because people are on vacation and SOMEONE has to give therapy to those 2 year olds!

Another Two-Fer

 

TUESDAY'S SHOW: This Joss/Vaughn thing...oooofff... Just so bland it's embarrassing. No sparkle...no NOTHING!! Even the montage was dull. 

Britt all of a sudden wants to look lovingly at ROCCO pictures after all these years? Hahaha. 

Dr. O IS KICKED OUT OF THE METRO!??!! damn LULU...she must DIE. 

LUCAS! Talks the truth-- and gets smacked by Willow in the process. 

Danny... ahahaha. Takes Scout. Bold move, kid! 

TODAY'S SHOW: 

Willow slaps Lucas, Marco sees it. Marco and Lucas talk about what led up to the slap. Lucas isn't going to HR about it. 

Willow goes into the stairwell and Liz consoles her. Then Willow tells her about the slap and Liz says she assaulted a staff member and could be fired! Liz tells Willow to go home. Willow begs, cries. Liz says she HAS TO LEAVE. 

Drew is at the Qs and wants Dann arrested and tells Chase to do it. Alexis tries to defuse the situation. Chase tells Drew he's not going to arrest Danny. Gives Danny a talking to. 

Drew tells Alexis he doesn't care what Sam would have wanted. She's gone and he's there. TOO BAD he wants to keep Scout away from Alexis! OOOOH, boy. 

Carly talks to Dr O about having to move out. Dr O pleads with her and wants to stay. Anna even tells her she should honor Rocco's parents. "It's what Britt would want". Dr. O tells Carly she will move to the Cosmo, Carly will pay for it. She wants the Penthouse lol. 

Anna tells Brennan she wants an update or she'll tell Carly about Joss. HE says she hasn't checked in but must be ok. Then he talks to the French lady, Colette who wants Joss off the case. HE says NOPE. 

Joss sees Britt, freaks out. Britt is flirting with Vaughn, plays with his hair. Joss tells the desk guy to get that lady away from her husband. Britt asks Vaughn to join her in her room and BRING HIS WIFE IS HE WANTS "The more the merrier" LOL . Vaughn leaves. The room guy tells her to quit interacting with the guests, she might end up on social media. 

Joss and Vaughn go back to the room. Joss says that woman 'should be dead"! She shows him her photo. Says she died saving her from a serial killer. She thinks maybe she went away because she didn't want everyone to see her die of Huntington's. They have to leave or the whole mission could be at stake. 

Maxie talks to Sidwell at the pool while JAMES (yeah) play with Cody. Maxie says she doesn't agree about not telling the police about Sonny's money. Sidwell cringes. 

Brook and Lulu talk. JAMES looses his football. Sidwell picks it up. They talk about Deception and Maxie working with him. Zincite is mentioned. Then James said that Maxie was talking to his grandpa (uncle Mac) about some advice she needed. Sidwell thinks it's about the laundered money.

Vaughn and Joss don't tell Brennan about Britt-- they say things are good.

I will be out on a boat today, soaking in the sun (it's going to be 94 here today!!) and not available for the live show. I REALLY hope something happens today. PS. Can Joss and Vaughn BE anymore boring? Good LORD, they are supposed to be having 'sparks'? umm...no

This is a safe space, even if the word is going mad. Just remember that. 

TODAY'S SHOW: 

Tracey and Cody talk pool side before he goes to meet Ava for a date. She's screaming at him about her says she's a THUG. lol He says he's doing it for the money. Tells her that someone is paying him to 'distract' Ava. Tracey says he's better than that, lists his good qualities. Cody says he's messed up and would have enough money to put a down payment on Serenity by now. Tracey asks if he needs the money. He says no. She has to leave. JANE ELLIOT IS SO GOOD IN EVERY SCENE. 

Ava is talking to Nina about stuff, before she meets Cody.  Nina is happy she dumped Ric. They dog on Ric a bit. She talks about Cody putting her first. Nina is happy for her. 

Cody tells Ava he can't stay for dinner. Hades is acting up. But she kisses him and he's all hot and she says she'll text him.

Carly and Brennan. Zzzzzz. He has to "tell her something". I came to town because of a grave global threat. Danger. I might have to disappear. Oh brother. Carly is glad it wasn't that he had a wife and kids somewhere. She says he has so many secrets to keep and she's so glad he's keeping them safe. 

Joss and Vaughn at THE FIVE POPPPIES. Britt stomps off before she sees them. Vaughn is hella pale. They get into the honeymoon suite and look for bugs. NO bugs! They talk about searching the grounds. Vaughn takes his shirt off. 

Anna tells Jason maybe Britt didn't fake her death on her own, might be in dangah. She thinks they have her at THE FIVE POPPIES. Jason says YES! THE FIVE POPPIES, I looked it up on the internet! She tells him Brennan told her to back off. She think "who Britt has ties to" might be a key. FAISON is mentioned 88 times. He is dead but his work 'lives on". She thinks there's a lab at THE FIVE POPPIES. He's going to THE FIVE POPPIES.

Obrect, Laura and Lulu argue about Rocco. OMG O is so mean to Lulu. Says she was in a coma forever then looked for Charlotte so long Rocco doesn't know who she is lol. Laura lays into her. Big time. Says LULU IS A GOOD MOTHER and she'll have to earn a place in Rocco's life. Thinks she's clinging to Rocco because Britt is dead. Dr O apologizes, says it's ok if someone is there while she talks to Rocco again.

Molly is in the coffee corner writing a book about "going west, horses and love".  Alexis finds her there. She wants to talk about Drew taking Scout. She wants to see about custody. Molly says in NYS that applies to visitation if a child dies. They try to think outside the box. They figure out they really can't ask for custody because Drew isn't THAT bad. Molly thinks it's best if she goes to DC and they can visit her.

PS I FOUND OUT THAT Coffee Corner is "Haven Bistro"! It's on the coffee mugs! WhO KNew?

Sunday Surgery: Cylinders

 

WELL... it's the Summer and that means traditionally, a soap should be firing on all cylinders, right? We went from a 6 cylinder to a 4 to now like a ...2. So disappointing. I'm giving you the highlights this week and a few pics. It really made little impact on storylines. Like MINIMAL. So, you can have a quick expresso and start your day early!! 

THIS IS IT and maybe a bit more I don't care about: 

Anna is "kidnapped" by Brennan so he can tell her about the WSB ops

BRITT'S RIVETING LAB WORK: She orders food, argues with the desk clerk, looks at her phone, lays in bed and has cocktails by the pool.

Josslyn and Vaughn "honeymoon" at THE FIVE POPPIES -Britt hasn't seen them yet. 

Outback steals every scene she's in. I think we need tshirts and some coffee mug merch! 

BEST SCENE: Anna and Obrect talk about their life choices. Two good actresses doing what they do best and killing it!! I've gotten in several discussions about Obrect/Rocco/Lante by the way. Liesl is actually a villain that is totally entertaining and I love her character. Is she delusional about Rocco and motherhood when it comes to Britt? Absolutely. Are they rewriting things a bit? YEP. But guess what...Kelly needed a story when she decided to come back and Rocco's birth WAS a weird, wild ride. His own embryo was kidnapped so I do think he'd be curious. Anyway, Dr O is my summer jam right now and Lulu can just go cry in a corner. Maybe she'll stop screeching for a minute. Dante can continue to harass Liesl and remind her of the past sins she visited upon him. Allowed and yes, entertaining. 

AND... WITH THAT, I'm done. Yes, more little things happened but did they really matter? Editing was awful and no one knew what day or night it was. Softball games at all hours. Laura stuck in her office while a parade of people came through for her to lecture. Wonder what Ace looks like now. Wonder what Charlotte is doing. Why haven't we gotten ANY of Scout's POV on all of this? The Drew fallout is pathetic. No media anything??? "Lucy is squashing it'?? LUCY COE? What is happening? Would some form of public flogging be welcomed? Willow's turning back into some parasite wallflower with the tears again. The summer romance department went on holiday to Siberia I think because...ooofff...there's nothin'.  

You know I love the show. I just think right now everyone but the actors are taking time off. It feels like we've been treading water since the wedding. Please give me a reason to tune in.

Not A Friday. (KWIM?)

 

So the memorial was joyful and really nice. Although it was hot and there was smoke from the wildfires, the humidity did not do me in!! Small victories! Fun Fact: we were in the land of grape vineyards that are owned by Welch's!  

I hear nothing happened yesterday. I read Sonya's summary---and I agree. Can you imagine if I had watched Live three days in a row of filler?? I would have exploded LOL. 

TODAY'S SHOW:  SOMETHING BIG BETTER HAPPEN TODAY!! 

Carly and Brennan make plans to go to the Finger Lakes and do a wine tour. Anna walks in on them kissing in the lobby. She says she has unfinished business with Carly--and Brennan has a mean face on. Carly's a BITCH to Anna. WHY Didn't you tell me the other night? Anna asks about Lucas and Marco and the kidnapping. Carly says she has no idea and stomps off to check the kitchen. Brennan lays into Anna. She says she was just messing with him about the whole thing to see how he'd react. She says if anything happens to Joss, she'll tell Carly. 

Alexis wants to see Monica. Jason says that Yuri says Monica isn't feeling well, has a virus. She's concerned. Jason asks why. She says his brother wants to move Scout to DC. Goes on and on narrating the whole Drew/Willow story. She wants what Sam wanted: Scout to be happy. Alexis asks Jason to talk to Monica so Drew will stay in Port Charles. Oh man.. no.

Drew ambushes Liz at GH and pesters her about Willow. She's like: LEAVE HER ALONE. He's just all "BUT I LOVES HER!! BLAH BLAH". I stopped listening.

Portia and Isaiah kinda flirt at GH. She thanks him for being a good sounding board. They talk about the cabin. She says be safe and touches her arm. STELLA SEES IT! Stella says that Portia might be being too buddy-buddy with him since she's his boss. They sort things out. 

Jordan and Curtis "run into" each other in the park. They are both jogging. They talk about... stuff. Portia, Sidwell...being friends.  She got an apartment that's swanky. 

Laura talks to Dante and Lulu about making peace with Obrect for Rocco's sake. Laura talks them into all having a meeting with Liesl. OH! It's happening right now. They have a nice talk at first then Dante says that Rocco is only 15 and they'll decide if he can see her or not. Then they bicker and Dr O doesn't want supervised visits. "Does YOUR MOTHER GET THOSE"? She says Britt's blood is in Rocco's veins and she's HIS GRANDMOTHER. Yes, I'm team Liesl because I hate LULU. 

At THE FIVE POPPIES, Britt is drinking a drink and the desk guy comes out and says she has to go to the lab. She says she's on strike. They talk about fixing the air system in the lab. THIS IS A SUMMER STORY? Britt says she's not working and the guy grabs her.

Celebration of Life

 

Today I'm out celebrating the life of my Aunt who lived a wonderful 90 years on this earth. She passed in October but we are having her memorial today. One thing about my Aunt Judy, she loved books, true crime and Disney. She and my Uncle went opening year of Disney World and went 28 times after!! 

Please leave your comments about the show below. Tues and Wed were absolute clunkers so I'm not sure I have hope for today. I'm most upset that they are making Willow contrite and batting the eyelashes to Chase and Isaiah instead of having her go full on Nelle. Come on now. Is this summer? Zzzzz.

TODAY'S SHOW: 

I GUESS the softball game was TODAY? Or... I don't know how the show does time. Anyway, Jason and the boys are talking in the park afterward and Dr O walks up. She meets Danny. Wants to take them all for ice cream. Jason stops her and says it's not fair to make Rocco choose because his parents asked him to stay away from her. He also says she should tell him that it was her idea that Britt steal his embryo. 

Rocco and Danny talk about Dr O. " She's not as bad as I thought" Rocco says. 

Sonny helps ADA lady into GH because she has a bad ankle after the game...and it's pathetic. Willow comes up and he says: We want another nurse. LOL. Then they talk about Drew and Willow. Sonny says he can't believe the judge gave Michael sole custody. ADA thinks Sonny has a heart. Awwwwwwwww. They flirty about the game and her trying to steal a base and...barf. 

Isaiah and Willow talk and she lets slip that Portia was blackmailed by Drew. 

Carly and Lulu have lunch or Breakfast or ffs, DINNER I don't know and talk about Dr O. Lulu thinks Carly is softening on her because of Jason. Carly's like: YEAH? Prove that Obrect is a threat. Lulu cries about losing time with Rocco and all that. DID BRITT NURSE HIM? hahhahaaha. Um, okay. They never EVER mention Charlotte. EVER.

Tracey, Brook, MAXIE IS BACK and Lucy all talk about how to deal with Sonny's money. Tracey says they shouldn't go to the PCPD because they could lose Deception (Sidwell got to her). She pleads her case. Maxie thinks they should go. Tracey says they could all end up in jail. Brook lyn doesn't want to because of Gio. :eyeroll: They vote not to tell the police and Maxie is the sole: NO

Chase and Michael meet at the pool and Chase tries to tell him about Willow and Michael tells him to shut it. Then he says, ok...tell me. Chase says she's SO SORRYYYYYYYY and wah wah. They argue, Michael almost tells him about the baby switch but doesn't. They keep arguing.

Laura and Dante talk about Sonny maybe or maybe not kidnapping Sonny. Did he? Didn't he? What do you think? Should we find out? NO! It would hurt RoCCO! She thinks they should let Rocco talk to Dr O or he'll get resentful.

Tracey is afraid Maxie might go to the cops. So I bet she sends her away to do some "job"

Hubs had carpal tunnel  surgery this mid-morning and I'm tired! LOL...just driving and caring and yada yada Exhausted! Not sure I'll last the entire time. 

Sonny and Jason are having a beer pool-side and Jason tells Sonny he's been thinking about Britt. "I saw her, I heard her" . Sonny wonders how she survived and about her other illness. Jason stares into space. He finally says he has to leave her alone because that's what she probably wants. 

Anna is in Brennan's office after he had her kidnapped. HE says he's keeping her out of Steinmaur. She's interfering with an investigation and he's going to tell her all about it to be transparent. So, he narrates the entire Josslyn "the agent" story and yada yada. She's pissed Joss was sent to another country as a new agent. ALSO she's not standing down because EMMA is involved. 

Portia and Curtis have dinner ZZZZZZZZZzzzzzz. He tells her Drew called a truce. She's not sure she believes it. Also asks if Curtis is going to fight for their marriage. He says yes. 

Tracey tells Marco and Sidwell that Sonny's money was laundered and Deception has to go to the police. He says NO! Then ADA lady comes over and asks to talk to Marco. He says no. So she says ok. We know you are lying about Sonny Corinthos not kidnapping you. He's like get out. She leaves. I guess that scene was to let Tracey know why Sidwell pulled out of the pier deal. He tells her she can't go go the PCPD because it will look terrible she didn't tell the right away. 

Michael and Dante are talking about how much Michael misses Daisy. Good Lord, Zoom or something. He tells Dante he thinks Willow switched Daisy. 

Carly visits Lucas at GH. She misses him. Wants him to move back. Even after she apologizes and says she wants to get to know Marco. 

Willow sees Chase and he asks how she is. She says "better now that you're here". Oh geesh, is she going to fall for HIM now because she's a cult of personality?  She cries, wants updates on the kids, cries some more. Chase tells her that Wiley had 2 helpings of oatmeal and Amelia likes grapefruit juice. She sobs..I'm missing SO MUCH!

FF Day

 I LOVE this.. NLG posted it on IG from Fan Club Weekend. It looked like a GREAT time for all! Did you go?? Anyone that reads this?? 

OMG The wildfire here is SO BAD you can barely see-- it's a 152 today and my eyes are going bonkers. Bloody noses! It's a mess! 3 full on days now. I'm glad I'm inside blogging and I'm hoping Tillie's little lungs are ok!! 

TODAY'S SHOW: 

Joss gets her walking papers. She's Kelsey something...they show a close up of Brennan's safe so....that will be something.  Carly calls and she's at the Metro and wants to meet Brennan. He says ok and tells Joss to go talk to her about leaving.

Joss tells Carly that she's going to AUSTRALIA to take care of one of her grandma's friends she's kept in touch with all these years because she fell. Carly wonders why she'd be going and not jut calling Jax. Joss makes a dumb excuse. This IS THE DUMBEST---Carly thinks there's something up. Then she says she's leaving to get away from Vaughn--and she needs time away. GOOD LORD. She leaves. 
Brennan comes over. They talk about Joss' trip and he plays dumb.

"HELLO SCARECROW" says Dr O to Anna on the docks.  She's mourning Britta. Says she sorry about what Faison did to Robin. I think Anna realizes that she doesn't know Britt is alive. Goes on and on. Tells Anna she should feel badly about Robin and leaving her for the WSB. They talk about the WSB and making different choices. GOOD STUFF watch it. It also prompts Anna to call Carly about Josslyn. She's going to tell her the whole story. Brennan overhears this while he's at the bar. 

Britt yells at Desk Guy for making her stay at the hotel. She hates her drink too. Dumb scenes. She sees Dr O's IG account with the selfie with Rocco. She says "you're so big". Then the Big Boss calls. 

Molly and Ric have dinner or lunch at the Metro. Don't know which. She tells him she's writing again. He'd like to read it. Then Ric rocks up all dressed but someone from work bailed on her so she needs to talk to Ric. She tells him that Willow went to see Michael. 

Emma and Gio talk about getting into Dalton's office. He says he'll go because he has no police record. He also talks about missing his family, especially Aunt Lois. He's sad.

OMG So, CODY is at GH -- getting his MOLE CHECKED? Didn't Tracey tell him it was nothing? AND he texts Krissy to go there too? (he has his shirt off). I have no idea what this stupid filler is about. BTW, it's just a freckle. Kristina says Ava is at Alexis' office and to go take her out for a martini. 

Ava talks to Alexis about cutting Ric out of their money agreement. She wants one final payment of 1.5 million and then they can get Ric out of the deal. She has the key to the storage unit for the car. AND she'll destroy the tape. Ric will have to kick rocks. Alexis shakes on it! 

Brook and Chase talk about adoption and she wants to make progress with Gio before they adopt. Blah blah blah. She wants to put it off. Chase isn't happy.
