OMG BODY SHOTS! I'm still not over the fun of yesterday. Such soapy goodness.You know I haven't been impressed lately but I really enjoyed the belly button shooters :GIGGLES:  

HERE WE GO! 

Oh Willow comes home to reporters outside the house. She goes upstairs and Jocinda is there with Drew's shirt on "Didn't your mother teach you to knock"?? And Drew is 1/2 naked in bed. Jocinda tells Willow Drew needs to "let off steam" and he said she was gone. Drew wakes up with a hangover. He asks what happened. She says his date JUST left. "I can't believe you'd do this to me"... she runs out. 

Alexis tells Lulu she can't talk to her about her adoption story because she has to check on Scout due to the fallout from Drew. Alexis can't figure out what happened to Drew--why he'd act this way. She has to go and check Scout and leaves. 

Alexis comes into Drew's house. He has a headache and doesn't know what's happening. She says she's getting Scouts stuff and leaving with it. He still has no idea what's happening she shows him the video. He's like WTF! She says; YOU ARE IN A BIG MESS, MISTER! LOL Scout is staying with her as long as it takes. 

Portia is giddy about what Drew did. Nina seems sad (probably for Willow). She afraid of how Willow will react when she gets home. Then Jocinda comes over (mistake imo) to report and get the rest of her money. She says Drew passed out and she slept on the couch. 

Later, Willow comes in and cries to Nina like a baby. Her phone battery was out and she didn't know what was going on. Nina shows her the bar footage. LOL 

Laura and Curtis talk about Drew messing up. She's like WHY would he risk everything? Curtis says  he wouldn't believe it if he hadn't seen it. They talk about his career being over. Curtis leaves for the hospital. Lulu comes in to talk to Laura. She wants to interview her about her adoption. OMG HUGE backstory about Laura being switched at birth, Running away to the commune and Rick and Leslie getting her. Big HISTORY! Laura figures out Lulu is way to interested in the adoption story and wonders what is going on. 

Kai is in for his operation. The Documentary crew is there but Drew isn't. Trina waits with him. He says she's his girlfriend. :eyeroll: Trina signs a release to be in the film. "Josh" is going to interview them. 

Portia gets interviewed by the documentary guy and he's really pushing about the surgery. Good idea? Does she know the risks? Yada yada. 

Brennan is watching over Sonny in his room. He got Brick off the hook with local police. Also took over security until Jason got there. Sonny thanks him. Brennan leaves. 

Jason went to LA to see Sonny. He and Carly hug. She tells him about Brick saving Sonny. Jason is like WOWclose call! Then Brennan comes out and Carly goes in to talk to Sonny. Brennan tells Jason he thinks he knows who tried to kill Sonny. The woman was hired by the same person that hired Solinsky and payed in crypto. He leaves. (So he didn't know other than it was the same guy).

Sonny tells Carly to go home to Donna. She finally says yes. Brennan and her are going to go to PC together.

Sonny tells Jason Mike told him to get out of the business. They have to find the killer first.

Drew finds Jocinda's bra and his phone under the couch.  Then he goes to Nina's and bangs on the door.

We are due for a big storm later--- hail and nasty stuff. We had a good day and 1/2 of weather so now we must pay!! It's funny how it hardly ever rains on soaps unless people are going to be without power or an accident happens on the roadway!! 

Where's the POOL SET?? Seems like they get it out by now but maybe it's more Memorial Day-ish. 

TODAY'S SHOW: 

Lucas and Marco are enjoying a drink at Cafe Cherie and Sidwell and Lucy come in. Sidwell introduces her to Marco. 

The Savoy: 

Curtis and Jordan talk about her safety. AGAIN. And MORE talk.

Anna and Professor guy talk and she finds out he teaches Environmental studies. Joss watches from a distance in her bod-con dress. Anna continues to flirt because I think she thinks he's a plant or something. Joss watches. Anna ends up leaving and then Joss scoots in to talk to the Prof about being the summer intern. He's like: Um... don't think so. "Just work hard and something else will turn up" Joss strikes out. 

Lulu and Cody are having a drink. His ribs still hurt. Lulu's being all cutsie.

Portia already gave Nina the Ketamine it looks like (??) and Drew barges in her office to threaten her. He says to get Curtis to get bad PR out on Sonny so the Esplande is moved to his pier. Portia says she'll try. 

Nina has the prostitute at her place and gives her the drug. Says to give Drew a "night he can't remember". She tells her to head to the PC Grille and get Drew. Then Jocinda is going to leave town and never surface again. Portia comes over and she and Nina talk about setting up Drew. 

Prostitute goes to PC grille and very VERY easily spikes Drew's drink that he ordered. She just sat at the bar and did it! Like in 2 seconds flat

Tracey, Gio and Emma talk about Mobular Sonny. Jason walks in. Tracey calls Drew. Then tells Jason to tell the kids what Sonny did to his brother. After Emma leaves, Gio asks Jason and he tells him Sonny killed AJ. Then says "he did it to save Ava" Gio is like how do  you know that? Jason says Sonny told him and he believes it. 

PC Grille: Tracey and Drew talk about taking Sonny down. Drew says he doesn't come cheap. Tracey says "name your price" he says "The Quartermaine name" Tracey says yes if Sonny loses. He will have earned it. Drew drinks his roofied drink. Tracey leaves and Jocinda comes and sits down. Drew is all HEY! HOW ARE YOU? PHEW!! THIS DRINK IS GREAT! She suggests the go somewhere else and he's like YEP! Let's GO!! 

Emma and Anna meet for COFFEE ?? at the coffee corner. Emma has to pull an all nighter. Anna tells her she met Prof Dalton. Anna says: Um you BOTH transferred at the same time? Emma admits she did it on purpose.

Drew is fk'd right up and at The Savory. MAKES OUT WITH JOCINDA AT THE BAR! Orders everyone shots!! Portia is like LEAVE him to make a fool outta himself! Jordan says she has to get him out of there. OMG he does BODY SHOTS on Jocinda after he lays her on the bar HHAHHAA. Lulu is filming so she can run it in the paper tomorrow. Portia is so happy about what's going on.

WELL, let's give this a go. Not hopeful but we shall see!! 

Alexis tries to explain the order to commit Kristina. Molly and Krissy freak out.  Molly won't leave and Alexis tries to explain it without explaining the accident she knows about. They go around and around. Kristina thinks she's betraying her. Alexis still won't tell her she knows about the accident. Kristina storms out. Molly tells Alexis how mean and wrong she is...she storms out too. 

Vaughn pretends to jump Joss in an alley to 'test her' again :EYEROLL: He's bugging her about becoming the professor's assistant. She's like: It's hard. He's like: It's too bad, do it. Then he says Dalton is at The Savoy and to go and make an impression.

Anna is dressed for The Savoy but Felicia isn't ready to go, she's still busy at GH . Anna goes to join Jordan.

Jordan talks to Curtis at the Savoy and her relationship with Sidwell. SHE looks FANTASTIC! omg! WOW. 

Kai and Tri are at the Savoy before his SURGERY ...meeting Emma. Trina says the ADA has been asking about Anna. Then the new professor guy comes up to Emma and says hello.  He hopes she gets the extra credit to be in contention for the assistant position. Then Emma gets a text from Gio and has to leave.

Anna sits at the bar. The bartender brings Dalton a drink and Anna says: wow I haven't heard anyone order that in a long time. Then he smiles and orders her one too. 

Stupid Fking BRICK stops lady from injecting Sonny. Sonny has dreams--Mike in KELLY'S. OMG haven't we had these BEFORE? LIKE A LOT? Sonny says this is the LAST TIME and Mike was right about him not getting into the mob and yada yada. He wants out AND doesn't know how to get out. Jason wants out too. So what to do!! 

Brick ends up shooting the nurse trying to inject Sonny after she draws a gun on him. She falls over Sonny's legs on the bed. AHHAHAAHA Then Brick calls someone to get the body. Carly walks in and freaks out by the blood she sees. He tells her he didn't go to Dubai because he saw blood outside a supply closet and found a lady in her UNDERWEAR IN THERE and knew someone stole her scrubs. AHAHAAHHAAHA.

OH!! THEN... he called the WSB and Jack Brennan was flying out West anyway so he stopped by the hospital to take care of it. Carly is SO HAPPY he's there. 

Tracey wants Gio to vote for the measure that moves the ESPANDANO to Sonny's pier. She shows him some online PR against Sonny and he freaks out. He texts Emma to come over. 

Brad gives Portia all of Drew's files and even stuff on Jake Doe. She wants more from him. She wants KETAMINE (for Drew) and Brad is like: This is not cool, it SUCCCCCKS. 

Kristina goes to the graveyard and talks to Irene and confesses to the Ava thing and... just talks about her guilt and such. Then Molly comes along and they decide to be there for each other forever.

Sunday Surgery: Got A Match?

 

I almost feel like you don't even need to read this week's blog because nothing really happened that makes a huge difference. Ok, maybe one or two little things but overall? Nah. I'm rapidly losing patience and that's saying something since I've been doing this so long!! 

I'm not even angry--just bored. That's a bad bad sign for a soap, especially when it's gone on this long. I will do my duty and fill you in where I can.

I'm having expresso because I need a jolt. 

FRIDAY DAY DAY

 

I'm happy it's Friday. I did watch yesterday's show--and FF through a lot of it. I see that everyone is saying how FUN and GREAT Kristina is :eyeroll:. Also, Lulu's on my last nerve!! Diane--DERP. 

LET'S ROLL ON TODAY'S SHOW!! 

Brook goes into Lulu's house and wants Lulu to stop 'using her baby to torture her'....She finally tells Lulu just tell Dante and get ready for the consequences. They yell a lot and cry a bit and Dante walks in. Brook says that she and Chase are adopting a kid and Lulu's butting in by writing an article about it. She leaves. 

Carly and Brick drink coffee while Sonny's having his operation. They talk about all the security they  have around him. They have coffee...yada yada. Then the doctor comes out. Sonny's fine and resting. The operation went well. 

Molly sees the paper that her mother filled out to commit Kristina. She's yelling in the GH lobby with Cody about it. 

Krissy and Donna make Sonny a card. Then Molly comes over to show her the paper. Cody goes to teach Donna how to 'TIE KNOTS' ( I did not make that up) and MOLLY SHOWS Kristina the papers! Kristina can't believe it. Can her mom do that? Molly says at least for a hold. Kristina sees they were just drawn up not long ago. She's grateful that Molly brought them to her and not Alexis. Kristina is going to confront Alexis. 

Jordan and Sidwell are at the Metro waiting to have a meeting with Drew. He comes in and Jordan says she wants to make a new start with him. Sidwell wants him to talk to the voters to get them to put the esplanade on Sonny's docks. They agree that's a good thing.

Alexis wants to talk to Marco about his father's deals with Deception. Lucy and Tracey can be back-stabbers. Then Ava walks in and wants to talk to Alexis. She needs her payment schedule to be moved up. Alexis says she can't do it because they'll realize she's drawing money on the account. Ava says not her problem, she just wants her money. She says she holds all the cards. Period.

Willow is at the German clinic to see Michael. She calls Nina because she's nervous. She asks the receptionist to see Michael. Michael doesn't want to see her. She pleads with the lady but she says Michael wants nothing to do with her. 

Nina is talking to Portia in her office. She thinks maybe they should hire a prostitute to trap Drew. BUT He won't cheat on her so they are going to 'slip him a mickey' and have her crawl into bed with him. Then, Willow will find him in bed with her at home. This is like a 1972 plot or what. Oh they are also going to take PHOTOS OF THEM! Well, they move right along and interview a prostitute! In the office! She thinks they want a 3-some but no, they want to hire her to set Drew up.

I'm sure you're tired of me saying I'm taking a day off but it's gorgeous here and I can't pass it up!!! 

It's just a vicious circle

 

Lulu has a GIANT NEW HOUSE. It looks like the set they used for all the old houses" and Luke's childhood. Dante is there and Laura's like: Oh, well, look at you! Laura leaves and then Dante gives Lulu a vase that Tracey sent along with him. 

Nina and Portia talk about Drew. They say how much of a manipulator he is. (like a cult leader)

Carly talks about Willow to Jason. She's still in the kitchen, now she's chopping veggies. She tells Jason her plans to "hit the ground running" with Diane's getting a custody hearing date so when Michael wakes up he can just do it right away. Jason says that's not a great idea. Carly blabbers and blabbers. 

Tracey talks to Ezra about hating Sonny it's weird. She wants him gone and lose his docks and yada yada. She gives him a check. Laura walks in and sees them. 

Brook and Chase tell Lois they want to adopt a kid and through the same agency she used to place her baby. Ned walks out. 

Ok, I needed to turn this off. Carly was INSUFFERABLE-- and... it's just around and around with this custody stuff and... nope, it's too nice out!! Sorry! The ONLY interesting thing is maybe Ned finding out about Gio but that's probably not going to happen today. 

Just a TALKING DAY--talk talk

 

Today is sunny and I'm tired from the 2 year olds. Tired from life lately but here we are, going into GH time!! 

Nina and Carly talk about Drew and Willow. A lot. IT'S A PAIN. Carly thinks Nina isn't all in for breaking them up. Nina thinks Carly's mouth will bring them closer together. They argue some more. Nina tells her not to bring up Nelle again. Carly agrees. They keep yapping and talking about how to break them up. 

Willow goes to Jason for help. She wants him to tell Carly to leave her kids alone and not take them away from her. Jason tells her only she can help herself. He tells her to go to Germany. She agrees. 

Curtis and Trina have coffee and talk about Kai's operation. Like, a LOT. I mean, it's painfully boring. 

Kai is at Drew's talking about the operation, he wants to do it. Drew is so happy. Wants to call the surgeon right away. He does. Then he tells Kai he wants him to do a documentary on his surgery with some film maker. Kai says ok.  

Kai and Trina are in the park, TALKING ABOUT THE SURGERY. He does say his parents are out of the country so they won't be there. 

Portia gets a notice that GH will have a 'guest surgeon' next week, it's Kai's surgeon. She's a bit concerned. She goes to Drew and asks him how he'll feel if Drew ends up in a wheelchair after this.  He says he'd feel badly. Then threatens Portia with telling everyone about her changing Heather's results. Then Curtis comes in. They alllllllllllllllllllllll talk about the SURGERY. 

Ava sees Ric. She has on a new fur coat and says "she's back"! She's buying a new car too. Ric is like: Um, what? She bought him a watch. He says no, they have to all go back. HE says they'll have to set up an offshore account and launder the money thru her Gallery. She agrees. She decides to get on the bed with him because money advice makes her horny. 

Diane and Alexis talk about Kristina and having her committed. They go around and around. All the same arguments. Alexis finally tells Diane to shred the papers and leaves. Diane doesn't shred them however and puts them in a folder.

Alexis goes to see Ric. He lets her know that her lunatic daughter tried to kill Ava but got him and Liz instead. They argue and he says Molly should know the truth about her sister. Alexis is not happy. 

Krissy goes to Liz' house and tells Lucky that the guilt is eating at her. She's having nightmares and yada yada and sweating at night. She can't TAKE IT!! Lucky says she'd hate jail. He says just make reparations now and forget the vendetta against Ava. 

Carly calls Diane to her kitchen to talk about Willow and Michael's custody case. Diane looks like she has a headache.

Sidwell and Pope Interruption

 

Hope you had a good Easter-- we had a rain free day yesterday which is UNUSUAL lately so I was happy for that!! Today? NOT So MUCH!! Thunder EVEN! 

Carly says she's coming to LA with Sonny. They'll say they are looking for a doctor to treat Michael when he gets home. They go on and on around this. Then the Pope news interrupted. 

Sidwell calls Alexis and tells her to hire his son. She hangs up on him. He comes into her office. "Suzanne" the receptionist, is from The Middle and played a psychic on GH before. Sidwell says that Alexis should really hire his son. She's like: NOPE.

Marco and Lucas talk in the Monica Q atrium. Marco tells him his mother and he fell out during HS, she didn't want a gay son so he got close to his Dad. Lucas wants to know if he knew he lived there. He says no. Then they talk until Natalia calls Marco. 

Outside, Isaiah is sad that Jordan won't see him anymore. He says it's DANGEROUS TO GO AFTER Sidwell ALL ALONE! DANGER DANGER! She says too bad and they part ways. Anna comes in and Jordan tells her she's undercover and Laura knows. Geesh, she's just telling everyone! 

Maxie asks Anna how bad Sidwell really is. Anna says bad but he's trying to launder his reputation through Deception so they should be ok. She leaves. Lucy runs in and says Natalia is Sidwell's Ex. Brook and Maxie both say: JASON TOLD US. They decide to ask Sonny about keeping Natalia or not. Natalia is in the room when I get back to the show. She's pleading her case. She hasn't seen him for decades. WHY didn't you tell us though? Then Sonny walks in and they fire her. 

Jason finds out Sasha took money from Sidwell. She's like: Well, it was because of my mother that's all. He says well he tried to kill you. She's like: HE was PROVOKED! Then I missed the rest and he was at Carly's trying to tell her why he didn't tell her about Sonny's heart condition. Jason is happy that Carly is going to LA with him. 

Emma is IN the dumpster and Joss finds her. Helps her out. They talk about school and Emma thought Joss was cool and fearless and Joss thought Emma had it "all figured out". Emma is suspicious on how Joss got into the class when there was a huge waitlist.

Sunday Surgery: Oh Gee

 

Say today's title backwards and .... you have... the longest reveal in the history of reveals. Well, not exactly because there have been others that have taken years but this sure seems like decades! 

ANOTHER week I didn't watch all the shows. So, sit tight and let's see what I come up with!!

Yep, I'm back for today. I did watch yesterday's show-- and was underwhelmed except for the horse. You know I like the horses. LOL. 

Donna tells Carly "Daddy's not goin' to Rocco's debate"--cripes this debate is a HUGE DEAL geesh. Donna leaves to get ready for school and Carly asks if he's not going because of Laura. He tells her about Rocco asking him not to. She says aww, that's too bad. She says if he cares about Laura he should stay out of this whole referendum thing. HE says what's his is his and he can't appear weak. Tells her about his heart problem and all the people that know.

Emma is doing community service at GH with Felicia.

Joss gets her ankle checked by Isaiah and he's like: you've been on this too much, what's happening? She says it's just from going to Easter Island and hiking. He recommends 6 weeks PT. Joss then runs into Emma in the hall who's a mess from the art therapy class. The kids painted her. Joss asks about the community service. Emma tells her she has priors and Joss is surprised. Emma says she didn't have a rich daddy to bail her out. meow. 

Joss follows the professor from PCU to the hall and lab. He has a silver briefcase and goes into the lab. She listens at the door. He comes out without the briefcase and she follows him back down the hall. 

Felicia talks to Anna about the Espalaneiueriu thingy and that MAC is so concerned and yada yada. Anna says the ADA also has something against her so if Laura is gone, she might lose her job. The ADA says she favors Jason. Felicia says "you do". Anna tries to defend herself. 

Lucy tells Maxie and Brook the night cream is flying off the shelves and sales are great. Lucy leaves. Then Jason comes in to tell Maxie and Brook that Natalia has been lying to them for months. Her ex-husband is Sidwell. Brook and Maxie are mad. Maxie says they aren't working with Sidwell no matter what Sasha says. Jason's like: UM, SASHA? WHAT DID SHE SAY? Maxie says she over played the kidnapping and he's an ok guy. Jason basically runs out of there. 

Jordan is at Wyndemere with Sidwell talking about her job offer. He's basically hiring her because of who she knows. She says there's no way she's getting "close" to Drew Cain. She's going to take the contract to her lawyer. Lucy pops in and is surprised to see Jordan there. They banter. Jordan leaves. Then Sidwell lets drop that Natalia is his ex. Lucy is shocked. SHOCKED! Nat walks in and Lucy lets her have it. She leaves. Nat is mad at Sidwell for telling. 

Jason and Sasha are watching her ultrasound. He's all smiles. Wants to send Michael a photo and she's like: UM I'll think about it. Jason thinks it will help him recover.  Later, Sasha goes to the Qs and Olivia tells her she can live there while she's on maternity leave. "you're just like family".  Tells her about the Q lore. 

Maxie and Brook call Anna about Sidwell and want dirt on him to get out of the contract. Anna says that might not be a good idea. 

Jordan tells Isaiah she's working for Sidwell and he's not happy. 

Sidwell gets Natalia to tell him about Sonny's heart problem. 

Emma is throwing something away in the dumpster and I think the briefcase is in there. 

Carly says she's going to LA with Sonny for his operation.

Thursday

 

Today Is DRAG Day!!

TODAY I am out galavanting in a charming little town on the PA border. Don't envy me too much because it's GOING TO BE SNOWING THERE tomorrow and raining today. UGH I pick the worst weather! 

Let's talk about: Dropped Stories and or Dragging Stories!! 

NUMBER ONE : Geo DNA.  I mean, come on. You went through ALL THAT and still no one knows it's Gio that is Brook and Dante's kid? Well, unless you count Lois and Grandma. It was a bit shocking at first to find out but by now it's just a DRAGGING BORE. By the time they find out he'll be 40 with his own kids.

NUMBER TWO, THREE and FOUR:  Deaths of Franco, Cyrus and Jagger.  I guess we are to assume that Cyrus killed Franco right?? We know Joss killed Cyrus but the whole thing just became a nothing burger to get her into the WSB. Lastly, of COURSE Sonny gets off from putting slugs into an FBI agent and no one follows up. :eyeroll: 

GH is also famous for starting something like Lucas and Marco and then leaving it FOR WEEKS. 

Where is Spinelli? Why is Maxie only on once in a blue moon? 

Will they mention Monica again before...well, you know. 

Cody has NOTHING to do. 

Sasha's baby better get here soon. 

LEO: what a great character and authentic actor. I know child actors don't work like they used to but GEESH!! He's evaporated.

Hell's Belles REPORT!!

Way back in the Day Kristin and I rad Hell's Belles--the Connie Tower Fan Club. Yesterday she made this beauty!! HOW WONDERFUL IS THIS!!!!!!!?? GAH!! Rejoice in your Belle-Dom!! Monday BoreStore

 

It's spring break week this week. I'll be out tomorrow so look for some fun filler and Sonya's recap. It's supposed to SNOW where I'm going on Wed--and this place is only 2 hours away and FML. 

Sonny and Laura meet and she tells him he might still lose his waterfront property. She wants to put it to a vote with the people of PC. Sonny says he disagrees. He won't let anyone TAKE HIS PROPERTY. Then the door opens and it's Rocco. He has to practice for his debate. Laura invites Sonny to stay and hear him. 

Alexis goes home and hasn't signed the papers yet but "will, tonight". Opens the door and Kristina is there. They want to have a Davis Girls Night-- and Molly is there too. They are going to watch a movie. They put their phones in a basket.  Molly says how much she's missed Kristina and is glad they are closer again. Kristina says she's learned to let go of her anger and need for revenge and all that stuff. Molly is proud of her, she's making so much progress.

Portia and Trina insist on talking about Boring Kai's boring operation. Yada yada, FOOTBALL... move on with his life...yada. Trina cares about him and it scares her. 

Ava tells Ric she told Alexis to meet her demands. She's so happy she'll get some money soon. 

Drew and Willow continue moving into the house. They bitch about Carly. Nina is still there, watching the kids (upstairs). Then Kai is at the door. Drew sends him away lol. Then Nina and Willow bitch more and more about Carly. Then Nina leaves. Then Drew and Willow bitch more about Carly. Then Drew says if anything happens to Willow, he'll take care of the kids and has papers for her to sign. 

Meanwhile, Carly goes to Brennan and bitches about Drillow.  On and on and tells him the whole thing. He says it sounds ok and happy she didn't really hit Willow. He says to wait until they do something drastic and lower the boom.

Sunday Surgery: One Day

 

That's right!! Surgery will be focused on one day last week: Friday. That's the only one I watched!! I admit it --I didn't want to go back and slog through the shows so I read some summaries and just tuned in Friday. So... you might want to fill in your own blanks or skip it all together. Feel Free !! 

I found some great spice stuff for the top of my coffee. It's from a bakery in Ithaca. YUM. Now you know!!

NOTE: I'm going in blind today--I'm not going to watch any shows prior to today because I don't really want to or care to. Isn't that awful?? It's just been a long week and I've read all the summaries and I'm good.

TODAY'S SHOW:

Joss's assignment is going to be getting into a professor's class and learning about him (See above). So that's Daniel Goddard's part. She says it should be easy. She has to be his research assistant.

Anna talks to Emma about her WSB involvement and having to sign the NDA. She got her files and Emma was charged with Trespassing, assault and a bunch of other bad stuff. (I bet it has to do with that professor). Emma says they had the party to throw off security and snuck into the labs. The animals were bad off. Then security came, she ran and accidently hit the guy with something. To avoid charges, she signed the NDA about the lab tests. Anna is upset. Emma says she is like her Grandmother, fights for the causes she believes in, even if it crosses the line of the law. 

Carly LAYS into WILLOW lol.. big time. Willow throws things back at Carly. Drew reminds Carly she's gotten with multiple family members so, lay off. Carly still says that Michael has a say about his kids--especially Wylie because he's not Willow's (OOOOOOO!) Willow says she loves Drew. Nina comes downstairs from settling the kids. Carly is like: Ohh, Willow Loooooves Drew. Then says Willow is using Michael's burned body as a bargaining chip. !! Then she says I'd never keep my kids from their father and Drew says: AJ MIGHT DISAGREE!! Nina's just looking ill. She texts Jason to get over there.  Drew says Michael better heal up and get back there to fight his own battles, not his mommy. They keep yelling. Carly tells Willow she's "Just like Nelle" AHAHAHA. It gets worse and Carly goes to hit Willow but Jason stops her. Willow smiles at her. OMG great scenes. You can tell they had a blast making it. Jason finally takes her out but Carly says she's going to make sure Willow never sees her kids again. 

Curtis looks resplendent in his blue suit! He says they are going to make Laura change the esplanande thing to Sonny's docks or they'll go to the press about their friendship. Portia says this is all Drew's fault. Later she asks Brad to come in. "I had more fun when I was blackmailing you" she says it's her turn now. She needs ALL the files on Drew Cain, even when he was Jake Doe and he first came to GH. She's looking for medical information. 

Sasha says she's going to move out of the Q house, Jason wants her to stay. He says it's a great house and the kids love it. She likes a big family. Nina texts Jason to go to Drew's. Danny comes in and tried to make cake pops for Scout and failed. Sasha is going to help him do them. 

Alexis hires Diane to be her lawyer because she's going to tell her about Krissy and the car crash. She tells Diane Krissy cut the brake lines and tried to kill Ava but got Ric and Elizabeth hurt instead. Diane says she'll face 3 counts of attempted murder. Alexis says there's no way out. Diane says she has to have Kristina committed. AHHAHAHA. Good scenes with Diane explaining things but also pointing out that Alexis always cleans up Krissy's messes and it's about time she got some help. Alexis isn't sure...Diane also says Sonny will probably think it's a good plan too. 

Kai wants to get the surgery and Trina is scared for him. She matches the surf shop decor. He tells her Football is his life and he's doing it and yada yada. Trina gets up and leaves to do something. Later, Curtis comes in and Kai tells him he's getting the operation. Curtis warns him about Drew.

Karen is going to be out for 3 days. So, it is up to me to come up with filler. As many of you know, today's blog will also double as a place for comments on today's show. 

Below is a Sunday Surgery from Karen from yesteryear. The game for today is for you to guess what YEAR the Sunday Surgery was written based on the content. No prizes given, but I will give the answer tomorrow. (You would think how bitchy Karen was with this blog it was written today!)

Sunday Surgery: A Bridge Too Far 

WELP. Here we are-- what has the Olivia Jerome story boiled down to? A damsel in distress laying at the bottom of a ravine, waiting for her hero to arrive.

I'm back for this week anyway--and I'm not holding back!! So let's go . Breakfast needs to be hearty because it might be awhile.

So-- let's go story by story. I'm going to start with a promising one: The Nurses' Strike. It had legs-- was fun for 2 days, then...??? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. This is so maddening and so GH's M.O. They have the actors come in for a day, shoot a few scenes...then? I guess we surmise what's happening off camera.  Glad that the Qs are involved. Glad it could have the Ned/Olivia connection and engagement even tho they won't be on again for awhile. Hard to get any investment with that. 

Julian's "Goodbye Tour".  Julian wanders around town to hand deliver notes/messages because he thinks he might be killed. You know what I would have liked? Maybe an old-school type sting on Olivia where he enlists people in this plane. Not this whiny, weird ramble that isolates everyone. 

The villain in the room: Olivia Jerome. Yet again, I was anticipating a great story arc. What did I get?? Long, drawn out, full of holes and....boring. I just NEED to really bitch about this. Tonja Walker had such a history on the show. If they would have had Olivia just blow into town under the guise of the GH buy-out, she could have been ALL over the canvas! But? Nope...show her hands for a month-- lock her in a room with some nobody goon and then do a predictable "revenge" plot story.  Did you see what happened when Anna ran into her? This is someone she had history with (we saw real flashbacks) and.....she didn't recognize her because of the cancer scare.  Really? Hey-- and get this. Maura West and Tonja Walker have had ZERO --you heard it--ZERO scenes together so far.  That right there is a crime. First or second day in they should have had Julian introduce the two and let the fur fly. Ava posturing for her place in the family upon finding out she had a devious older sister that wasn't really dead. Why do that when you can spend time on framing Ava for the car bombing and then sticking her in jail? Ava's been in jail four time since being on the show. SNORE. 

One thing that was done ok ..(and just ok) was having Olivia be Alexis' 'sponsor' for AA.  It got them in scenes together.  I'm still waiting to see how all of this will 'redeem' Julian because it seems that's the direction they are going.  

This brings us to the bridge scene. Could there have been a more formulaic device?  UGH. Not only that Sam's pregnant. We could have told you she wouldn't just have that baby normal-style. Something was bound to happen. Falling in a well, trapped in a cabin, yada yada. This time it's down a ravine after fighting for a gun on a bridge. She'll lay down there talking to herself for awhile until she's rescued.  Wasn't she just laying at the bottom of Liz's stairs doing the same damn thing??? *sigh* . 

Hammy Finn is an addict story. We all thought he was an addict when he first came on and was injecting himself with giant ass'd needles.  It took eons to find out he was really dying of some weird disease, find the cure, give it to Hayden --and now? HE'S ADDICTED. So, ??? How is this entertaining. We saw Finn inject, pass out and cover up for months. We are seeing it all over again. Hayden confronted him but that's one scene. I was honestly having a better time watching Brad try to get money for the discovery than this stuff.  

I have no idea what they are doing with Griffin. I have no interest in Curtis and Jordan because although they have chemistry, they are isolated and have 2 on 2 scenes together where they talk about the same stuff they've talked about since he came on the show. They don't even bother to mention TJ anymore. Kiki and Dillon are boring me to no end-- there's just no strife there. No reason for me to root for them.  

Speaking of boring...here's another story that was written so poorly that I really don't care what happens. It could have been epic. Another example of taking way too long with too many gaps and just plain dull plots. The character of Nelle is just so blah-- she's not vixen enough to be a sizzler, she's not angelic enough to be the good/evil girl and she's so one note it hurts to watch sometimes. Even the bathtub scene lacked any kind of sexual tension.  She legit could have stood up stark naked in front of Michael and I'd be all...meh. The pacing is so off that there's no anticipation/excitement about the Sonny "affair".  They didn't really even sleep together (we know that fact will come out) so..???? Carly and Sonny will break up again for a hot minute until the truth comes out and they make up.  One saving grace? Bobbie and Felicia. At least I can find a sliver of silver lining! 

Anna's cancer. I was really intrigued and enjoying the whole Valentin back story until they turned that into such a boring drawn out mess, unless they step it up it will just be another bore.  Now Anna has this rare blood disease. Let's start something else!! You know I love the fact that Robin came back for it. The story at least got us that. 

SCENE OF THE WEEK: Yeah! So happy they wrote KM's real life pregnancy in! So glad Robin comes to visit now and again.  This made me smile.

WEIRD MOMENT OF THE WEEK:  Sniffing of the water jug. 

FLASHBACK OF THE WEEK:  Robin sees Olivia St. John. Talks about Cheryl (Lucas' bio mom). This is what legends get you. If they're not recast that is...

COMEDY DUO OF THE WEEK: Curtis and Jason and the empty tomb. Stephen King Jokes? Squeemish tough-guy! Hilarity ensues!! 

So, that's the week that was. GH is filled with flipflop and fast scenes. I started timing them. I really did. The average so far is ....29 seconds. I'm going to do it again next week and see what I come up with. Start to notice how short every scene is. Maddening.

So much happened--I got NO sleep, up and in by 8am and it was just a crazy day. As you know, I'm off Mon-Thursday.

Thank GAWD this week is almost OVER

 

Just wow. Half the people are freaking out and the other half seem to be oblivious. Must be my age. I don't even know. I really hope this show today can take my mind off things. 

I didn't watch yesterday's show, just looked at the summary. Didn't miss much, right? 

TODAY'S SHOW: 

Joss tells Brennan Vaughn got a package from some chick yesterday and thinks he's on the take. She flashes back to him dropping the plate and the package and yada yada/ That's the old garage set btw. They try to get her to back off her story. Such an obvious test. She won't back down and Brennan finds a chip in Vaughn's pocket. Yeah, it was a test and she passed. She's going out to the field next. 

Lucy tells Jordan Laura said she'd help with the Nurses Ball. Jordan has to call everyone and convince them to perform. 

Deanna takes care of Liz, says no change in Ric. Lucky walks in and has a bag of Liz' things. She talks about how hard it is to be off her feet for 3-6 months. She wants to go home but realizes that a rehab center might be best. 

Ric is still unconscious. Ava is standing outside his room. She finally goes in and holds his hand and wants him to wake up. He does and asks about Liz. Ava says she's ok. He wonders if they got hit. She says no he lost control of the car. Then he remembers the brakes failed. Molly runs in and Ava leaves. Alexis tells her to stay away from Ric or she'll get a restraining order. Ava's like: stuff it. 

Kristina is hysterical in the chapel praying to poor God to help Ric. Alexis and Molly walk in. Molly tells Krissy she's been a great sister through all of this. 

Later, Kristina needs "air" and leaves. Lucky gets a text from her saying she needs to see him now. 

Jason goes to see Carly and give her a tax doc from the Metro Court sale. They are so sad they aren't BFFs right now. She doesn't want to give up BRENNAN because someone is telling her to. This is so high school. He says he'd take a bullet for her, can't lose her like he lost Sam. She says she hasn't felt this alive in a long time. :giggle: He agrees to back off of the relationship because of what their friendship means to him. They are so important to each other! 

Kai is telling Trina about the operation that Drew wants him to have. She's suspicious they argue. He wants it, she thinks no. Then they have really bland dialog about the whole thing. They end up kissing. Lucy interrupts to ask if they'll perform at The Ball. 

Curtis and Drew are arguing about Kai having the operation. Drew for it, Curtis against. They get into it over the CEO stuff and Curtis and Willow and Michael and and. Then Jordan comes in and asks if they are participating in the Nurses Ball. They say yes

Ava goes to the garage where her car is. She wants the guy to check it over before it goes to the compactor. Make sure nothing was tampered with.

I'm going to have SO MUCH to say about yesterday's show and I'll wait until Sunday. Yes, I would have written it differently. 

Ok, I guess we are back to "regular programming" today...so let's see what happens!! 

OMG So, Jason doesn't want to see Liz when he goes to GH but wants to talk to Lucas about Carly and Brennan. He says SHE'S IN DANGER! REAL DANGER! What can we do!! Lucas says she didn't come home last night. Jason's like OMG they slept together !!

Carly and Brennan wake up together in bed. I didn't even know they were doing it 'yesterday'. Kissing, and junk.

Laura and Sonny are having breakfast and Ezra comes in and says that its' the "Mayor and the Mayor behind the scenes. " Calls Sonny a mob boss. Ezra finally leaves. Sonny agrees that maybe it would be good if they weren't seen together to often. Then Laura figures out Sonny doesn't know about the accident and that Ric is in the hospital. He doesn't really care. Asks about Liz. Laura says her leg is broken. 

Then Carly and Brennan come into the restaurant giggling. 

Deception meeting: Brook, LaRue, Tracey, Maxie, Lucy talking about Sidwell and the Zinc stuff. Maxie says that Sasha already said that Sidwell wasn't that bad.  They decide to buy the Zinc and leave for Spoon Island. Tracey is staying behind. 

Sasha goes to see Sidwell at Wyndemere and wants a guarantee that he's not going to screw over her friends. She says she has friends that can handle him. Leaves. All the ladies show up and they have champagne. Maxie has to leave to go to GH for routine bloodwork. 

Oh yeah, Emma's in court. Anna tries to talk to the ADA about going easy on her and it was a non-violent protest yada yada. The ADA says she was arrested at the University and it was bad enough for her records to be sealed. 
I have no idea. Then Tracey and Sasha come. Tracy hired her lawyer. Emma pleads not guilty. The ADA says no bail because she is a repeat offender and might leave town. 

Gio is upset that Emma has a record an still chained herself to the crypt. She says whatever, she's been in trouble before. It was better he didn't do it. 

Diane interviews Marco from Miami for a new position at her law firm. She likes him but Alexis has to meet him. He sees a photo of Lucas on Alexis' desk. 

Diane and Jason talk about Jason's will. She knows that Michael is the father I guess ? And Jason says he's not telling Sonny or Carly about it. 

OK, I HAVE TO LEAVE: It's 2:45 and I'm sure I'll catch it later. Weird, strange show today

April Anniversary!

 

We all know today is GH's anniversary!! Can't wait to see how they celebrate it. 62 years! 

HERE WE GO! 

This is obviously a stand-alone episode BTW. If I were you, I'd watch on Hulu with no commercials. Very choppy and a LOT of commercials today, I swear. 

Alexis and Curtis were at an AA meeting together. They talk about GH being a good place. 

Donna is there for a shot, she did well and has a sucker. Felica, Carly and her go to say "hello to Aunt Bobbie's photo" . Felicia says nursing was Bobbie's calling. 

Laura is dedicating the new cardiac wing today-- Sonny is with her. Tracey gets off the elevator she says Monica  is too ill to attend. She can't be around many people. Laura's sad but understands. She says her mother had great admiration for Monica. 

Portia and Terry come down to join everyone. Anna and Mac are there. Anna had an infusion for her blood thing (they remembered!!) and he wants to take her home so she doesn't have to Uber. 

Tracey is at the memorial wall, Stella comes along and calls her a softie at heart. They talk about Monica not being able to make it. 

Maxie brings packages to give all the nurses. Deanna and Amy pass them out. They get all sorts of goodies. Felicia and Stella want one too.

Lucy is at Wyndemere talking to Sidwell about the Nurses Balls over the years and they show a flashback of her gowns. He says it's a worthy cause. Lucy talks about AIDS/HIV and the toll it took. Anyway, he agrees to underwrite the ENTIRE BALL this year. ALL of it. 

Sonny is the  donor to the wing. He left his name off because Monica doesn't like him and he wanted to honor just her. :EYEROLL: Alexis has a scene with him and said she saw the paperwork on her desk. He's such a hero and good person. 

Ned and Tracey's talk is wonderful. Good stuff, they talk about their history and Alan and Monica. 

Carly and Sonny talk about the hospital in the chapel. About the memories and yada yada. 

They do the dedication and then Lucy runs in at the end to say Jenz is the sole person for the Nurses Ball. 

ugh

Today was a big let-down. Very dry and just boring...I can't even explain it. No warmth or charm. Just very disconnected. NO FLASHBACKS except Lucy's dresses.
