Since I'm out today, I thought it would be fun to imagine what I'd order if I was out and about in the good city of Port Charles. It's a great spot for a bar-crawl!!
CHARLIE'S: Now that it has a blues inspired interior, all I can think of is jazz and having a crafted Bourbon Manhattan (Orange rind, no cherry) while sitting at the bar. Liquor of choice: Douglas & Todd.
SURF SHOP: Over at the Pacific Ocean DJ spinning diner-type place, I'm choosing a Peach Almond Shake. They used to make these at Fridays in days gone by. Mixture of Peach Schnapps and Amaretto.
BROWN DOG: This calls for a local craft brew and I'll choose our own Rohrbach's Scotch Ale. Hopefully, there will be a bar fight to watch!
PORT CHARLES GRILLE: Fancy setting, Fancy Fire-- and you know I'm choosing a Dirty Martini in honor of our girl Ava Jerome. Since I'm not a gin drinker, I'll have a vodka one with Absolute Mandarin (yes, I'm weird).
THE METRO COURT: The Metro Court has a very '80s type vibe. The lighting is so bright and the decor just doesn't know what do with itself. I half expect a 'ladies night' to popup. I that spirit, I will be having a Cape Codder. Cant' go wrong with that. Vodka of Choice: just Well vodka, it won't matter!
THE SAVOY: I'm sure new manager N'neka will have a full menu of craft cocktails to choose from. I do think she'd make a mean Moscow Mule however, so I'll grab myself one of those. Tito's...and skip the mint.
CAFE CHERIE: You might ask, what is this? It looks like the PC Grille but it's white and more airy. Since I may hit this place for lunch, I'll keep it lighter with a Kir Royale. Champagne of choice: Andre Brute. I'm not a picky champers drinker!
POZZULO'S: If you get invited by the mob-boss himself for some homemade pasta, you'd better order some top-shelf scotch to wash it down. Make Sonny pay for the good-stuff. My choice? Johnny Walker Blue.
BOBBIE'S: No, no drinks here but worth a mention if you need a nice hot chocolate on your way to the skate park. I'm thinking you could always put a little nip of Kahlua in there when you get outside!
NOSTALIA VIBE: BUCKET 'O BLOOD: One more to add to the mix. Robert and Luke's fave haunt! Since it's a bar that harkens to my earlier days, I will have my Dos Equis and a shot of JD. That place deserves a broilermaker.

----I am screaming - I HATE ANNA'S CONDESCENDING ATTITUDE but at least she realized Jason didn't kill Cyrus - wonder if this is yet ANOTHER time for them to work together? UGH

Joss is lying very well. Seems to me that the Jack character has changed. Probably written before CM announced his departure. Wonder if that factored into his decision.
Oh right, I forgot. Sonny has another grandson. Clearly he knows. Has he ever interacted with Michael's kids? I think not.
No way does sonny know. And 20 yrs ago when Lois gave the baby to her cousin she only knew it was Olivia's grandkid not sonny's. I'm wondering if she got sonny involved in helping gio once the truth abt Sonny going Dantes father came out. Like she realized her BFF sonny was missing out on a grandkid so she got him involved without telling him. But that makes her loyalty to sonny trump her friendship with Olivia since she always knew Olivia was the grandma and I don't get the feeling Olivia and gio were particularly close. Then again this story is pretty badly thought out and SORAS of Rocky really messes with things. Bc basically seems like abt 5 yrs between gio and Rocco at this point.

Ava and Trina: They talk about Kai and how Valentine's day date was, and why is it a secret. Trina talks about Joss is still grieving Dex. Trina thinks that Kai just sees her as a friend. And oh look at that! Kai is calling! UGH!
Miller and Davis law office:
Krissy, Molly, Alexis, and Dante: Dante is telling them that Cyrus killed Sam, and Alexis want to know why. For some odd reason they are all wearing black! Are they going to a funeral?!
Alexis and Ric: Alex is mean to Ric and he wants to know what is going on! She tells him and Ric was going to give her a hug, and she resisted, but then she gives in. Awwwwwwwww! Nice hug! :) Now Ric take off your shirt again. :)
Port Chuckles surf lodge:
Kai and Quinn: Quinn is putting down Trina, and Kai is sticking up for her! Quinn wins the line of the day.
Quinn: The girl is tiny.
BAHAHAHAHAHA! I love Quinn!!! :) Trina calls people out and so does Quinn. They would make a perfect couple. :) They wouldn't get away with anything because the other would call out each other hahahaha.
Bobbie's:
Jason and Sonny: Jason tells Sonny he didn't kill Cyrus. He thought about it, but he has to think of Danny! Awwwww. :) Sonny says that takes a lot of restraint and respect. Jason says people change. Sonny says not Cyrus. Oh look the greenies on the table, I see a face on it. Hmmm very interesting.
Trina and Joss: Trina tells her to call her mother because Carly has been contacting Trina looking for Joss. Joss says she lost her phone! Trina is worried about her. Joss lies about where she was last night. She says she will get a new phone. When Trina leaves, she says call your mother! ROFL!
Joss and Jason: Joss needs to talk to Jason about something, but Jason gets a phone call. Anna demanding him to go to the police station NOW! Jason will talk to Joss later.
Gio and Joss: Gio is sticking up for Emma and talks about how passionate she is! UGH! Joss understands and has her fliers still and has been putting fliers places. Joss give some fliers to the greenies. I am sure they will love to help!
Gio and Sonny: Gio calls Sonny, uncle Sonny. Gio call him grandpa! ROFL! Oh! Sonny gives him and envelope with tickets to the symphony orchestra and extra money. :) Who will Gio go with? I hope he takes Trina!!!
Krissy and Molly: Krissy doesn't believe in the system anymore! First Krissy says our baby, then she says her baby. UGH! Too much!
Q mansion/Brase bedroom:
Brooky and Lois: Brooky tells her ma everything about telling Chase about her baybay! Lois looks like she is about to pee her pants. Gio comes in and talks about the tickets and that they helped him his whole life. Brooky hugs him awwwwwwwwwww! :) Lois is probably peeing her pants.
Police station:
Anna and Jason: She doesn't believe he didn't kill Cyrus! Anna has tears in her eyes. Must be the allergies. Jason is trying to make her believe him! Leave him alone Anna!!!
Chase and Dante: Geez Chase is wearing black too! Why?! Chase got the forensics report and showed Dante!!!
Anna, Jason, and Chase: The forensics report says there was nothing at the cabin. Everything cleaned out, but a couple of things. 2 hairs!!!!!! JASON'S HAIRS!!!! Oh great so Brennan is setting Jason up! Carly would not like this one bit and will not want to date him! I don't want Brennan and Carly to date anymore! Get away from her Brennan!!
The hospital:
Laura and Felicia: They talk about Cyrus attacking Liz and Lucky. Cyrus is missing. Oh I love Felicia's hair that way.
Laura and Marty: Laura had to tell Marty that Cyrus attacked Lucky and Liz. Marty can't believe it! They both wanted to believe the good in Cyrus. Awwww. :(
Laura and Sonny: They had a nice scene. Laura said Luke would be happy that they are both there for Lucky.
and also Anna COMPLETELY has forgotten about Valentin.

ReplyDeleteJust watched Beyond the Gates. It's okay. Kind of corny, especially the background music. I will tape it again to watch in the evening. It 's like a primetime soap anyway.
