Ok people... I have some glimmer of hope here. Chris has been a long time dialog writer for GH and has been promoted to Co-head writer with Shelley. He's a HUGE fan of the show and is from Rochester so he's always making sure local references get in there. Great writer and humorous. I can only hope this means a better product is coming. Chris is also fun and funny. yeah!
Good news for once for me! WOOT!
Hooray!!

Woohoo!!
ReplyDeleteFinally some GOOD news for GH. We've been LONG overdue for something positive going our way with GH! I really do think one of the most important qualifications that a writer really needs to have is that of being a fan of the show. (And this is especially so, when it comes to soaps) It becomes quite obvious VERY quickly if the writer doesn't know the show's history and cast, and even more so, for longtime viewers.
Has there been anything at all mentioned about when his stuff will start to show up, Karen?

Side note: In her Tweet Jean said she thought it was Chris who had Ned change his last name back to Quartermain-- ergo he knew it wasn't that. A small detail but ones we live for lol
ReplyDeleteSounds good! :-) Thank, Karen.

** Yeah, this sort of stuff is HUGE for me, and refrences to stuff decades into the past, that unless one has been a longtime watcher, it goes right over their heads. :) That sort of thing was one of the things I really liked about when RC was HW, making it VERY obvious that he actually knew GH history.
