Triage Tuesday!

I wanted to come up with a snappy name besides "Activity Tuesday" so here you go!! I'm out and have a million things to do so I'm sorry to say-- I won't be watching today's show for a bit. 

IT'S VOTING DAY!!!!!! Pouring rain here but it will still draw people in. We are lucky--we live in a county that has a polling place about every 3 miles. Seriously. It's amazing. Maybe because we can't vote early? Not sure. Anyway, mine is in a church up the road and the auxiliary ladies all have a bake sale! WOOT! DELICIOUS. Free coffee too.  

Since it is election day, lets look back at some of GH's elections, shall we?? 

Mayor Lomax!!  Remember the BOX of ballots.??... quick trivia question--who threw the box into the PC Harbor? It might surprise you (answer at the end) 

LUKE WINS the Mayorship!!! And in this clip we see Lee and Gail---Ruby!! Amazing how far HIS character came..

This only reminds me of the terrible decision TPTB made letting Genie go in the middle of this story-- I swear the show changed after that whole time period. Thank goodness someone had a level head and got her back! I liked having Ned as Mayor tho--but he's just not on enough.

SONNY and DA Lady... Talking about the head in the barrel at The Floating Rib.  He says Carly's really upset about it but they didn't do it. Margot says she'll catch whoever did--SHE ALWAYS DOES.  Sonny's going to tell her the truth about her mother and father. Wait, not yet..he says to back off or it's "gonna get bad for her" .  They talk more, he threatens and finally tells her he thinks that her mother was seeing Scully. "Your mother is a widow because she wanted to be one" ... DA goes to slug him, he grabs her arm (Usual precursor to Sonny Sex) 


Curtis and Jordan ...Jordan wants some advice/someone to talk to about the whole case. She tell him about the blonde hairs. I have no idea what they were doing other than recapping. 

Carly's at Jason's. She tells him she said she would kill Mary Pat.  And that she talked to the cops. He thinks that bad...but whatever.  It was pointless. I think they are having Carly tell St. Jaysus so he and Carly can team up and Laura can go to the sidelines. Because....GH 

Lulu comes over to see Laura and Spencer is there too. Lulu thinks Laura is out of it.  Laura says she's not going to actively canvas for votes anymore. She's not sure she's ready for public service.  Spencer goes to check his computer. Laura tells Lulu that "Kevin" left her. WHAT!? WHY!!? Laura tells her why-- Spencer is listening at the door.  Lulu tells her Kevin's a jerk and to get ready to go to the polls and vote.
Spencer says exit polls are in her favor. Lulu and Laura go do her make up-- and Spencer takes out a zip drive for his computer?  I think he's going to hack the election.  Yeah at the end he put it in the computer at the polling place. 

Ava and Ryan at the The Art Gallery. Ryan tries to comfort her.  She says there were blonde hairs in the body's hand. He says he wishes he was there when she found the body. :giggle: He has his morning free and would love to talk to her about things.  They go to Charlies. 


Laura and Lulu go into Charlie's and of course, sees "Kevin" with Ava. She and Lulu leave. Spencer stays behind for a 'coffee' and marches over to KAva's table and "If this was 1776, I'd challenge you to a duel"... "you sir are hollow and have no loyalty"... (looking at Ava) "You too deserve each other.

Well... I moved my kid in the pouring rain-- got really SORE and felt tired for 3 damn days. OLD I AM!!! Oy!! Anyway, it's done--his place is great and yes, I'm glad we hoarded old furniture in the basement for years. 

GH this week was mostly on the up for me. Britch was back and made everything fun again and Thursday's show gave us a great bang for our buck. Whoo HOO!!!

Carly's dreaming about Mary Pat's floating head.. I wish her eyes were open tho!! Mac is talking to Laura at the Rib. She wonders where Kevin in. He walks in later just as Laura is saying "I wonder who could have done this". 

Scotty and Ava ..he's like "you're seeing that Quack Kevin Collins"!!?? She says he's brilliant AND exciting! 

Kiki, Sasha and Griffin are jogging on the riverfront. Sasha gets a cramp, Griffin fixes her. 

Nina slept on the couch. Valentin brought her tray of coffee and breakfast. 

Nina meets the group on the docks. Kiki says she's doing a walk of shame-- Nina's like NOPE didn't sleep with him!! 

At the Floating Rib, Ryan gives his statement about seeing Mary Pat the night before and that she was scared of Carly. Then he tells Jordan and Chase Ford their history and said Carly basically said she wanted her dead. Laura is trying to tell them it was in "context" but Ryan did the damage! Carly's a suspect. 

In Ava's office, there's a bloody pumpkin face/body thing behind her chair. She screams and throws it. OMG It's MARY PAT'S BODY!! WOWZA, Ava's grossed out, Nina calls the police. Ryan is so smart, he knows Carly hates Ava and would "Frame" her!!

Ryan is skulking around the docks with the hook. Laura sees him... but not put the hook 
BACK..she thinks he's just lying to her. He says he has been and he's a coward. He wanted to tell her his feelings have changed and he wants a separation. Laura cries and pleads with him..he's like NOPE. Ryan tells Laura he's moving out!! 

OH!! It came out today that Sasha isn't really Nina's kid-- Valentin said " The longer you stay, the more likely the truth will come out"!!  

In Loving Memory: Mary Patricia Ingles 1957-2018

It is with deep sadness and a heavy heart that we have to announce the passing of our beloved Mary Patricia Ingles who died  on Halloween, Year of Our Lord 2018.

Mary Pat (as she was known) was a lifelong resident of Port Charles. She was born 1957 along with her twin sister, Terry Pat at Mercy Hospital.  The twins and their older brother (Merrick Pat)  were raised by their mother, Rita after their father left home for a new life in Genoa City.  Growing up in poverty, she vowed to be a successful health care provider to give back to the community.  Mary Pat attended the prestigious University of Rochester School of Medicine in Rochester, NY and majored in psychology, with a minor in trauma nursing. The late Jessie Brewer of General Hospital was her mentor in the ER.  She graduated in 1977 at the top of her class with honors.

Unbeknownst to most of Port Charles, Mary Pat briefly practiced psychology  ...and even counseled a young  Maxie Jones after her sister's death.  Her license was revoked in the late 1990's however, due to her inappropriate relationship with a a patient (now believed to be Ryan Chamberlain). Mary Pat gave birth to a child fathered by Chamberlain but quickly gave the baby up for adoption. She never got over the affair and helped his brother Kevin keep Ryan alive for years until he finally ended up in Ferncliff, a  psychiatric facility located in Attica, NY.

In 2008, it was apparent that Mary Pat was headed for a breakdown, especially after her twin sister, Terry Pat was killed in a car accident.  Once Mary Pat learned of Terry's death, she assumed her identity  and went on a cross-country rampage; seducing men and women alike. Many bodies are hid across route 66, never discovered to this day.
What know one knew, not even Mary Pat is that Terry survived her car accident and was nursed to health by Victor Cassadine. She is currently residing in Evia, Greece and plans on surprising the town sometime this winter.

Memorial service to be held on November the 7th (one day after PC Elections, don't forget to vote!) at the Mason E Dye funeral home. Calling hours 4-8 with coffee provided by Kelly's. Please consider making a donation to the Flat Earth Society of which Mary Pat was an ardent member. 

As an added surprise, we are happy to tell you that Mary Pat and Ryan's biological daughter, Nelle Benson will be attending the memorial. She knew...Mary Pat knew... Ryan never knew. Now YOU Know....happy viewing! 

MOVING DAY!

Today's the big day in our house... "kid" moving out. What a mess everything is lol. Luckily it's not too far. Halloween was a mess for Tillie, she just didn't know what the heck to do!! 

SO, let me know if they find Mary Pat's body today... and what other things happen. I did see a bit of yesterday's show. Peter's cake was pretty, but WHY ARE THEY MAKING HIM NICE? It's totally the Valentin thing all over again. Plus, as you know, Peter bugs the hell out of me anyway. I mean, I don't want Maxie with Chase; he's too Nathan like but still. Let her be alone for awhile, move in with Lulu while Dante's gone. It would be a riot! 

I need a good cocaine dealer. And I say that with tongue in cheek but dang, I'm going to need ENERGY TODAY!!
