THIS is how the prime time show ended. Burton left GH quietly over the vaccination thing and didn't bitch and sue like Ingo did, that's true. ANOTHER BACK FROM THE DEAD STORY!! WOW!! And yes, I don't like his character. I thought a "NO JASON GH" Was just FINE.
So.

ReplyDeleteI have mixed feelings. Carly has been more tolerable without him on canvas. The shrieking sound of her voice will have me FFWD! I do not like them as a couple either. On the other hand, I like him in general and his ties to everyone (please have a scene with Monica). I loved him with Brit and I am a diehard Liason fan. That being said I think he needs a new love interest. The blank stares are beyond weird (brain injury or not) and putting Sonny and the business before his kids made me want to scream.
ReplyDeleteIt was a nice surprise at the end of the show for sure and it's not often that I get surprised these days with soaps. That said, do something different with the character...Let his demise last time around lead to snapping him back into his Quartermaine roots...Would be so interesting to see an integrated personality with both his backgrounds and how he could operate in the business world and with corporate takeovers. If is is just Stone Cold again, I can already say with certainty BORING. The only time in recent years he has been somewhat interesting with that persona was with Britt and she is off the canvas now so PLEASE writers, do something different
ReplyDeleteAbout that show last night...seemed like a promo for present day GH. IMO it was disappointing. I really expected many more clips from the past. The good thing about Jason back is maybe bye bye Drew.

I love Jason. He brings more to the show for me! I'm so happy he's back. I was at his recent touring show with Bradford Anderson just before Christmas - and they did NOT spill it. I was hoping they would!
ReplyDeleteOne-note Robot Jason is back. No personality, but women thinks he is eye candy. Could do without him. Especially since he will be inserted into every storyline and increase the Carly factor!
ReplyDeleteOne character GH was doing fine without. Jason is not needed and all his presence is going to do is to make the mob stories a bigger part of the show, and that St. Jason will defeat every bad guy and save every person in need of saving.
ReplyDeleteNot really thrilled about him coming back. Jason's personality and storyline are so one note.
ReplyDeleteHopefully he will reunite with Elizabeth and Finn can find love elsewhere. I have never seen a couple so sparkless and boring, what a snoozefest!
Am also hoping that Roger Howarth comes back as Todd Manning and takes over Alexis's newspaper when she gets her law license back
