It's Official: Rademacher OUT at GH

Multiple sources have now said that Ingo Rademacher (Jasper Jacks) is out at General Hospital following the vaccine mandate that Disney had enacted. NLG first confirmed on twitter and now Deadline  and Soaps In Depth is trying the ? to sidestep it all but he is out.

  1. In addition to I'm sure his non compliance with the vaccine mandate, it sounds like he was pretty vocal on some trans posts and Cassandra (Terry on GH) posted a reply that she was very hurt.

  2. Glad he's standing up for his rights.

  3. I'd guess that a solid 2/3'rds of the country agrees with him but are cowered by all forms of media who are owned by liberals. I'm glad he stood on his principals. We need more like him. NLG claimed another scalp! How proud she must be.

  4. I don't think it was the vaccine mandate that caused his firing. He may may have tried skating around the health issue but his Transphobic tweets were a line you just can't cross. The first articles today all listed those as the cause of his firing.

    1. No, it was the vaccine mandate. Disney let him go around Nov 1st. He's made MANY far-right hateful posts before and they did nothing.

  5. I am all for folks rights, but have to admit I would not want to be kissing Ingo (as beautiful of a man as he is)or having confrontational scenes where spit could be flying around.

Are 2/3 of people against seat belts too? Many folks standing up for their rights change their minds once its too late, on their deathbeds.

    1. The people cheering for the government mandating Covid vaccinations are usually the same (like NLG) types who believe the government has no right to dictate what a woman chooses to do with their own bodies. The hypocrisy is real.

Yup! This one guy who didn't get the vaccine, got Covid, and then when he got better apologized to the nurses and thanked them. He then got fully vaccinated.

    3. GM: I am cheering for the mandate to try and keep myself safe, as I am an old lady with high risk disease if you must know. We don't talk politics here hardly ever, so we kindly ask that you refrain from bringing them up. This is a health crisis. Trump and Biden both got the shot, and it is mandated for all of fox news too as well as CNN.

Sonya the man you mentioned was a lucky one. Many others have died. So sad.

    4. Linda, you've brought up the political aspect by comparing the vaccine mandate to seat belts. BTW, I'm pro-vax and have been since mid-April, but I'm also anti-mandate and I don't feel it's a corporation's or government's place to take away a choice that should be left to an individual.

      Yes very lucky.

"Many others have died. So sad."

Yeah I know.. It's awful and sad. :( I feel so bad for the family members who lose loved ones. :(

    6. Linda - No, Fox News doesn't have a vaccine mandate in place.

    7. I didn't know you worked there Luke Fan! Silly me.
I could definitely be wrong, but I though it was reported they had one.

    8. Luke Fan, it ABSOLUTELY DOES...google it --Fox and Friends SAID IT ON AIR. So.. whatever. And Ingo made his choice. Now he can work somewhere else.

    9. The truth is the truth no matter how much you disagree. Here's the facts around Fox News' "vaccine mandate". https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2021/10/12/tucker-carlson-makes-great-point-about-fox-newss-vaccination-policy/

Yes, Ingo can work someplace else - of course. Better to stand for principles than to feel dirty about making decisions to please others.

    10. Wow, you guys are downright rabid. Unreal. Never disagree with the mob I suppose.

    11. I think being on GH is a good, steady job in a tough industry. I don’t understand saying hurtful statements that could land you in hot water, or not getting a vaccine when mandated. Principles are fine, but creditors don’t care what your principles are.

      Delete
    12. I agree to some degree Kathy but there have been too many cases of serious vaccine side-effects and deaths. Principles certainly don't support a family but I would feel dirty doing something that I so vehemently disagree with just to earn money. He's been on and off soaps for years and seems to have done okay. I'm sure he knew what was coming but stood his ground anyway. Just my opinion

    13. Luke Fan, I can see that perspective. Who knows what the future holds for him in his career. I would just personally be too concerned about future prospects to take his path, especially considering he has a lot of dependents. But we will see if he pops up somewhere else or maybe he has other sources of income.

  6. Goodbye.. I wonder if they are going to recast him, or he will leave town, or he will die.. Hmmm.

  7. Don't let the door hit you on the way out Ingo.

Or...maybe, let it. Might knock some sense into you.

  8. I think the reason we had so many isolated scenes, like aLEXIS IN PRISON, AND OTHER OVERSEAS, IS THAT PEOPLE DIDN'T WANT TO BE ON SET WITH UNVACCINATED PEOPLE. iF THEY PASS THE MANDATE AND YOU hAVE TO BE VACCINATED THEN THEY'RE GOING TO BE MOVING THESE ISOLATED GROUPS BACK HOIME.

,,,,shoot...I'm not yelling. Just looked up from my keyboard and don't want to retype everything.

    3. He seems smarmy. A good actor though. The smarm is my "problem". Any other questions?

    4. Why do liberals swarm and attack when someone disagrees with them? Conservatives don't do that. If you've got a differing opinion - cool, but I don't hate you and want to end your livelihood and reputation over it. I guess it's true what they say - If you want to anger a Republican, tell a lie - if you want to anger a Liberal - tell the truth.

    5. Luke fan said...". The smarm is my "problem""
*** Then why make it ours with the sarcastic comment.

And why just pop into this website and spread hate at every opportunity. This used to be a happy blog. We disagree but we do it amicably, with a touch of humor. If you can't find anything nice to say, don't comment and let us get back to our happy place.

    6. Di - I'm sure Karen hates me at this point but the fact is, I love her blog. She writes great recaps with a touch of humor and wit. Love them. Just because I disagree with the majority of posters doesn't mean I'm spreading hate. Although I read the blog every day, I don't comment for this very reason. It's just when I feel that an actor has been wronged that I speak up (it's MY opinion and I hope to be able to express it) Posters have been just as straight forward as I have, but it's been on people you guys dislike. I just happen to think differently and I don't hate anyone. I link to Amazon through this blog because I feel as if I should support it.

  10. NLG won't stop until she gets Burton. He's her primary target - she's wanted him out for years. She used to even tweet about how many words his character spoke each day and talked about his salary. Seems as if a deep hatred has been there awhile.

  11. Ingo is unprofessional. I didn't like how he was mocking NLG months ago on Maurice's podcast. For me, it's not just one thing, it's a pattern of behavior. He seems like a jerk. Good riddance.

  12. I am a nurse and for my family and my patients I do want a vaccine mandate. How many of you have been vaccinated for Polio, small pox, measles, mumps rubella etc etc in your childhood. Those were all mandated. We'd all be dead now if our ancestors did not stand for what is right for their neighbors. Also. How many of you that don't want a vaccine put in your body smoke, drink, do drugs, drink caffeine or eat junk food. That is not good for your body either. So many selfish people today. I stand for protecting children ,old people and my community.

    1. Also I have done tons of research on vaccines. Feel free to ask my for reputable articles.

    2. I agree. People can really be hypocritical. If we all got the vaccine, everyone would be safe.

    3. indie - since you're the professional, please explain why the Polio, smallpox, measles, etc. vaccines took years to develop and test, yet Trump's vaccine took only a few months. Also, do you know what the ratio of the Covid vaccine side-effects and deaths are compared to others? Lastly, did you know the CDC changed the definition of the word "vaccine" to support the vaccine mandate initiative?

      Delete
    4. This country has been mandating vaccines since the Revolution. Washington mandated that his soldiers be vaccinated against smallpox. The Supreme Court upheld a vaccine mandate around 1915. The reason the covid vaccine was was done so fast is because very smart people all over the world were working on creating it with unlimited resources, whereas the vaccines for for the other diseases did not have the same manpower or monetary resources.

      Delete
    5. Luke Fan, over 5 Million people have died of COVID (proven fact). I cannot find a single report of anyone dying from the vaccine. Please educate yourself further.

      Delete
    6. Zak - just under 1000 have died from the three vaccine.s Look at the VAERS website (a government website) which shows every statistic. Did you know that Covid cases have almost doubled since the vaccine was released earlier this year (compared to last year)?

      Delete
    7. 5,000,000 dead from COVID vs. 1,000 dead from vaccine complications. The numbers speak for themselves.

And we all know that the vaccines don't give anyone immunity from COVID. You can still contract it. The vaccines give you a 98% chance of surviving the disease and attacks it before it makes you sick enough to have to go to the hospital (and fill up hospital beds that are desperately needed for people who have cancer and other life-threatening medical emergencies that people can't control). COVID can be controlled...by getting vaccinated!

  13. MRNA technology is not new. CDC is constantly updating as the pandemic progresses. There are side effects to any vaccine or medication. The side effects are rare and the disease itself is much worse. If you are interested in doing research beyond Facebook and social media I can try to upload some sites and articles. CDC is a great resource as is many .gov and .edu websites. I tried to include one about MRNA but it wouldn't paste.

    3. indie - why did you say that my research is through FB and social media?? Not true at all. Although I'm not in the medical field (I'm a paralegal), I never use illegitimate sources when researching something as important as this. Yes, please provide the links you mentioned which show MRNA technology being studied for years and how safe the vaccine is. By the way (and not that it matters), the Covid vaccine isn't the only vaccine I'm concerned about. I refuse all vaccines that my physician tries to push every time I go into this office.

  14. The missing word here is HUMAN. It's not a liberal thing, or a conservative thing. Respecting and protecting each other is a HUMAN thing. The bizarre politicization of something this basic is beyond me. Protect and respect your neighbors. That's all it is. Let go of the politics. Care.
