It's GOON GONE WILD!

Amy's all upset about her stupid blog--and the book deal...and High School..and..well, Nate and Dillon don't KNOW what's wrong with her!!  Dillon tells Nathan all about High School. Maxie was a mean girl-- mean. Amy was really nice, did a lot of volunteer stuff, was in the chorus.
Her brother however, was a great FB player and everyone loved him. She lived in his shadow for years. "Chad"  left to play for Wisconsin but put his shoulder out.
GOD, we got more on Amy's life today then most ppl on this show in forever! Dillon says Chet (or Chad, I'm not sure)  has disappeard. Oh! Nate says I know, I'll check data bases to find him. (WHY WHO CARES????????) and I guess ol' Chet/Chad is on some police file? Not sure because they cut the scene. Then Nathan finds Amy at ANOTHER coffee shop (??) I'm serious and says "I think I know what's wrong" and ..then cut scene.

Olivia tells Julian to buzz off and let Ned adopt Leo.  OMG, later Alexis comes in and says Julian has every right to see his son! Like Alexis would say that about a guy that put a knife to her neck and almost murdered her. Unless the writers are high. COME ON. That's just wrong.  Sam happens upon Alexis saying he has legal rights--and Sam is PISSED. She says Julian will NEVER see Scout. Then she tells Alexis she wants her to stay away too if she's going to act like this.

Griffin is seeing Sam because...I don't know she was standing in GH hallway not feeling good. He takes her into an exam room. She has no fever. He thinks it might be a virus. Then he thinks it may be PTSD over Olivia Jerome. She won't believe it, leaves.  (this is when she goes to the Metro and confronts Alexis)..

Cassadine Goon is stalking Jake.  Jake goes to the vending machine.  He stares at Jake.

Meanwhile, Jason and Spin are still looking for said goon guy by hacking into the data base of the police department.  They figure out he's at GH by hacking into his credit card info and seeing he bought scrubs.

Jason calls Liz..tells her to lock herself in a room with Jake because Goon-Man is coming. Liz is all..um..we gotta go Jake! Jake is like but I WANT MY CANDY. Liz asks Griffin to hide them and Jason comes to GH. He runs UP THE STAIRS WITH THE security guy--
Griffin is talking to Jake ...and they are not leaving the room.
Jason sees the goon go into the elevator but the doors close.  He chases him up to the roof.  They have a STUPID fight LOL..oh geesh. :eyeroll:

IT'S NATIONAL LOBSTER DAY!! And Alberta Says: Have a good one! She knows she's delicious so... don't worry if you eat a bit.

  1. So, I am home and before tuning in I decided to read your writeup. This has to be the worst, most boring episode ever. Of all time. Dear, why should I bother with this?

  2. They are obviously going to be shoving Amy down our throats whether we like her or not.

  3. Please tell me that Jean P. (who is leaving) wrote this episode. I pretty much hated everything about it.

  4. My favorite part was Jake giving Griffin a exam.

** When her name actually started appearing in episode descriptions on my cable box guide a few weeks back, and it's happened much more frequently, is when I knew we were gonna be stuck with her for certain.

  6. The bits of the "fight" between Jason and Helena's flunky that were in the previews for tomorrow's show were some of the cheesiest and most groan inducing I've seen on any soap in quite awhile! Even the goofy Matrix-like ones that were used 10 or so years ago by Days in the "Salem Stalker / Melaswen" storyline, having John dodging bullets and what not, while fighting back in "bullet time" speed/motion. Hell, for a few seconds or so, it looked like Jason and that guy were just "bitch slapping" (As much as I hate that name/phrase myself, I just couldn't think of any better way to describe it.) each other!

  7. Most of us can remember Maxie as a good kid who was a candystriper. She got into a little trouble later on but they seem to be rewriting history again. I think they are giving Amy some storyline so Nathan has something to do, although he is as exciting to watch as Paint and Wall. I would love to see Griffin with Liz instead of you know who.

*** They seem to forget he's a cop. Why isn't he investigating Ava's case with Dante? He and Amy seem to have lost their jobs now and they just sit around restaurants and coffee shops.

  9. yesterday was just awful.....Nathan should be investigating the case cuz Dante has conflicting interests. But I guess Dante doesn't want to be home with all that drama. BM has absolutely no chemistry with Spinelli so that's not working either. what a mess!!!

** I've pretty much got the vibe from/with Jelly, on whatever show they've worked on, that if something occurred in the past, before they were in charge of the writing, it's completely up for reinterpretation, if not completely rewritten, since they had no involvement at all in the events.

***Writers who have no respect for history shouldn't be hired as soap writers. History is very important. Most fans have been watching for years. We're not like the current generation who don't watch a show till the whole season is up and they can binge watch.

** I agree completely. Sadly though, what we want and care about has little to no weight with the networks and TPTB that are "behind the scenes" and production focused. They're in such a blind mad dash to draw in more and more younger viewers (which is understandable), that they do so at the cost of losing the older viewers like those of us here that have been watching for several decades. Unlike other types of shows, where a lot of the new viewers come from people just curious and checking things out, with soaps new viewers generally come from a family member or friend, that they would be introduced to, by watching with them.

Sunday Surgery: Rude Awakening

Such a frustrating week for me!! GH can be so good, then so uneven and just plain plodding along that it baffles the mind. I felt like Thu...
