Oh My GOSH...
Totally forgot to blog-- I watched the first 15 min, periscoped and tweeted about 2 things. IT was such a BORE. Total exposition again and FLASHBACKS.
GEESH... I have a feeling this Silas mystery is going to take over the life of the show. With flashbacks after flashbacks...
and of course the on going Jake "Mystery". I'm so afraid it's going to go into sweeps. UGH.
At least there was no Dante/Val sex flashers today.

Up and down week for me when it came to enjoyment. It seemed like things were shuffled up wrong in the editing room and it made me scratch...
A problem I've had with GH (which hopefully the two new writers can sort out) is that it needs to be better about pairing which story lines are playing together at the same time. I like a good mystery but instead of Who Killed Silas and Who Shot Hayden Because She Knows Nik And Liz Know That Jake Is Really Jason But He Doesn't Know Yet playing opposite each other maybe play one mystery and one romance? Play your dark with some light. Watching Luke play with himself and discover his dark while Sonny mobbed because of mob at the same time I think hurt the show. So hope the new team avoids doing that stuff JMO And what is with all the flashbacks? I almost wonder if they are editing some stuff out of the episodes and then filling them in with flashbacks to make up the time.
ReplyDeleteI liked today's show. Lots happening- Hayden does not remember, Sam confided in Patrick and he blabbed right away to Liz, Carly realized Morgan was impulsive enough to kill Silas, Franco talked Obrecht into helping him prove Ava is alive and had motive to kill Silas, Nina convinced Nathan to look at the broader picture. The flashbacks are showing new clues gradually to us. Let's just enjoy the ride!

Good point! LOL I am enjoying a lot more than I don't right now.
Loved Dr. O - can't help it. Her German words are hysterical. There has to be something up with Nik for him to become a cold blooded killer.

The floating rib: More Whine Sr and Whine Jr from Liz! Nik Tells her he had GreenHayden shot, and now she is losing her mind! Her mind exploded. She whines about her soul! ROFL!
ReplyDeleteThe hospital:
Sam and Patrick:
Sam: Oh Patrick! Please forgive me for lying and keeping secrets from you! I beg of you! Forgive me!
Patrick: I love you. Yes I forgive you.
Sam, Patrick, and Jake Doe:
Patrick: Jake! I know you and Sam are working together!
Jake Doe: Oops!
GreenHayden's room:
GreenHayden: I don't know who that Ric guy is. I don't know who that Nicholas guy is. I don't know who that Sam woman is. All I remember is you Jake!!!! And for some strange reason I'm horny.
Julian's home: Oh! Morgan ends it with Moochie for the millionth time!!! Oh the heartache!!! What is poor Moochie gonna do!?!?!?! :(
Sonny's home: Awww baby with Maurice!!! So sweet! She even kisses him on the cheek! Awwwwwwwwwwwww! :) Oh oh Carly thinks Morgan killed McSilas!!! Possibility, but I doubt he did it. He is too stupid! He don't know how to kill someone with a knife! Even if he tried, he would probably use a butter knife! I read a rumor that McSilas's brother did it!
Shadybrook: More flashbacks of McSilas on the floor of his house! How many flashbacks are we going to see?! And is McSilas still on the floor?! Nina is freaking out!!!!!
Nina: No! Franco did not kill Silas! NO HE IS INNOCENT!!!
BobTodd and Dr O: I just love how they are trying to figure things out! :) Keep going!!! Oh she is calling her son! Oh oh there is Moochie!!! She goes to see BobTodd!
BobTodd: I know what you did last night!!!!
Nah she didn't do it. :) I say Magda!!!
Newspaper: What a strange headline. Cancer Doc? Really?!
Sidenote: Where is Kiwi? Is she still crying and staring at the floor for the cue cards?
"SaveOurSuds says Watching Luke play with himself"
ReplyDeleteROFL! Now that does not sound right! :)
"LindaV says There has to be something up with Nik for him to become a cold blooded killer."
A tumor in his head?! :)
Why on earth would Liz want that boring square Jake when she could have that evil scheming Nikolas hotness! No offense to Billy Miller, but my God he's boring on screen.
ReplyDeleteSaveOurSuds..
ReplyDeleteWell, heck when you put it that way, it was a good episode, I just didn't look at it that way! LOL
I have to watch anyway before I write Sunday Surgery so... :) I shall look with fresh eyes
The show was a bit too repetitive for my liking, and I as well can't stand the constant flashbacks of things that just happened. It's a way to dumb down the audience, allowing the writer not to write an actual well-thought out story with a beginning, middle and end so they can piece things in here and there on a whim seeing as they don't film too far out. It's lazy and insulting to viewers. Hopefully this will stop with the new Head Writers.

ReplyDeleteExactly. They remind me of some young fanfic writers who just start writing chapters and then get stuck in the middle. They then post that they need ideas..."What do you guys want me to write next? What should he/she do next etc. " Unbelievable. No concept of sitting down and making a plan at all.
This became evident on GH when they "changed" the Fluke story because some of the fans were guessing what they'd written.
