Sunday Surgery: Teamsters

Well, I don't know about you but I felt like we got one hella week out of our show!! So much happened that some didn't make sense until I just told myself to shut up and watch lol. That's GH for you:  up and down and around like the new roller coaster at Disney. 

It's a rainy day here so bagels and coffee. For some reason rain means bagels and cream cheese. 

LET'S GO GO! 

TEAM SONNY/LAURA LUCAS: To bring down Sidwell, Laura and Sonny get Lucas on board to help them get to Pascal who they think will turn on him. Using the coffee warehouse as home base (haven't you missed that place?) Lucas comes up with a plan to plant the seed of doubt about Marco's murder and goes to the PCPD. He talks to snotty Joe who reluctantly goes out to Wyndemere to question Pascal. Pascal feigns innocence and escapes thanks to Josslyn blowing a fuse in the main line by rewiring her kitchen lamps (don't ask).He escapes! That's where Sonny comes in. Catching Pascal at his dumpster filled parking spot, he shows him the wires from the car and hauls his ass into the warehouse. Pascal gives them the safe combination and Lucas gets the photos and negatives. Laura and Sonny are free. Lucas says not so fast and plants something else in the safe to get Sidwell in trouble with the police. Laura and Sonny burn the photos and negatives (they were OG and on real film, no digital) and wait for the rest to unfold. Question: Will Ace come home now or is Laura loving life not being a grandma with full toddler duty? 

TEAM CASSIUS/JOSS:  Yes, you read that right!! Joss hatched a plan to escape. She almost manages to do that but instead of using the tunnels like Pascal must have, she chooses to GO OUT THE FRONT DOOR! BLOOP! Sidwell is at the ready with a gun. I guess he's known she was down there all along? He confronts her and is going to shoot but Cassius pleads to keep her alive. Joss gets the bright idea to take off her ring and put it under a chair. She's back down in the chamber but thanks to Cassius, alive and well. 

TEAM CARLY/VAL/NINA/BRENNAN:  Over on paralyzed island, Brennan tells Nina to get Valentine by using "Ex Machina": a phrase that's known to WSB agents as a distress signal. Valentin and Carly get to Turning Leaf and he tells them how dangerous everything is. No, he doesn't know where Joss might be but damn it, Cullum has to be brought down. Carly believes him. Jack also pleads with Valentin to get in touch with "X". I'm assuming that will be the new "Tristan Roberts" character. He will be a cunning yet suave Aussie who's a bit Bond like. (sound familiar?)  

TEAM MICHAEL/ JACINDA : Over on the other side of stories, Michael is trying to break up his cousin's marriage to Chase by manufacturing moments for Willow and him to be caught together. Jacinda is all in too and gleefully participates in a ruse that involves Crimson sunglasses, freezing cold lake water and bathing suits. Yes, Willow is all ready to touch Chase and gush over his bravery. Chase (being dumb as a post) doesn't get what's  happening even when she offers him a job as her chief of staff. Who gets an eyeful of all of this? Tracey! She hilariously confronts Chase who calls Brook to explain how innocent it all was. Brook is scheming however and another team: Brook Lyn/Lucy is forming to take Willow down. 

TEAM ALEXIS/BROOK/CHASE/NATHAN AND... AVA (AKA TEAM PHOEBE) : What Michael forgets is that Brook Lyn is trying to adopt baby Phoebe and he just might put a giant wrench in all of that. Alexis showed Ethan the photo of him and Delilah and he admitted the one night stand resulted in her pregnancy. (that's what she told him anyway) He doesn't want the baby and thinks the solution of Chase and Brook is a good one. He say he will sign over his rights if and only if the adoption is sealed forever. Alexis presents it to the couple and Chase (being dumb as a post) jumps at the terms. Brook is hesitant because she had a sealed adoption with Gio and look at that mess. Anyway, Willow brings over the social work forms needed and all seems well. Until... Ava and Ethan start talking about the situation and she's rightly pointing out that Ethan is the son of Holly and Luke. We know those scammers! She smells a trap for money. Ethan swears that's not the case. The audience is wondering if he really IS the father. Alexis sure didn't get a DNA test --which is odd but it's a soap, right? 

TEAM CULLUM: I need to mention this guy because he had a busy week!! First he goes in to threaten Brennan and get his 'black box' combination. In the end, he leaves before getting the information but scares Jack enough to call in his arc enemy, Valentin. Callum also threatens Sidwell (again) and then kidnaps Dr O to finish Britt's work on the Cold Fusion project. 

OTHER BITS TO KNOW: 

Dr O figured out Drew was signaling SOS and wanted to put sunglasses on him. So did Nina. Liesl warns Nina that Willow is basically a viper. Nina shrugs it off. 

Maxie and Spinelli are at the Grand Canyon for a family vacation. Georgie is staying at Mac and Fe's house. 

Elizabeth tells Lulu she was the one that told Dante her thoughts on Rocco's cut. 

Lucas got Marco's tie back from Pascal who's headed out of the country thanks to Sonny

An Orchid was sacrificed when Nina didn't give Brennan another shot of his drug. 

Kristina told Michael about med school and he didn't burst out laughing!! 

SPECULATION: I think Det. Joe is internal affairs and they are investigating corruption within the PCPD. Dante is the son of Sonny and knows everyone in town. Joe has been by the book and shady so we shall see!!  

COMING: As I said above, we have another character in the works named Tristan Roberts. He will be played by  Dean Greyer  of the Australian soap Neighbors fame. I've also speculated that he will be the WSB guy: "X" that Brennan is calling for help. 

Scout is SORA'd to about 15 ?? Not sure the exact age but I'm not opposed to this. The teens have to branch out and I'm hoping this is only the beginning. Get Georgie in there and Aiden too! Dang! Elizabeth has 3 kids and they are all off canvas!! 

SNEAK PEEK 

And there you have it! Huge amount of much needed movement and plenty of 'action' in the soapy sense. Also, No Curtis or the baby drama so I was happy for that as well. Sorry, but dang, I just can't get into that story. I WOULD like to know if the kid's liver transplant was successful however,  so I hope they let us know. Lucy was more in the mix and not annoying which was a bonus. Kathleen Gatti back as Liesl is SO welcomed. She lights up a scene every time she's on camera. Even one with Joss!
