Ok, so...yes there was a PSA for some eye-mites in this week's show and I can just imagine what the poor writers had to go through when they were told they had to do this. I personally would have had a kid get but--hey, you gotta do what you gotta do. That's all I'm mentioning on this front because--ooooffff. The rest of the week? B+ for me.

HIDING IN PLAIN SIGHT: Monday's show was all Valentin. They even managed to tie the Ned-Brook talk back to him by bringing up Bailey Lu. By keeping her 'partnership' with him secret, Carly was able to give him some first aid and lock him in the She Shed overnight. I loved the interaction with Joss about the first aid kit. Carly lies SO well, it's scary. Yes, Joss went to the house to 'protect' Carly in case Valentin showed up. (good spy that she is). Brennan meanwhile, went rushing to the PCPD to cover his ass for the chaos he caused.
BLUE RIBBON: I need to add a prop of the week: The key with the ribbon. See, Papa and Char have a signal. If the ribbon is red it's GO TIME. If it's blue it means: I'm safe, stay put. Carly managed to get it to her by throwing it under Lulu's porch. (Lulu was busy having her 3rd panic attack in 40 minutes so she didn't even see it).
MAC DADDY: I'm thinking that JJY comes on now and then to keep his SAG and healthcare because they would have him on more if possible. Great to see him, that's for sure. Wish it was with Felicia but I'll take what I can get.
MARCO---POLO! Ok, when Lucas sat up in bed, how many of you yelled that!!? Marco is deep, deep into all that's happening in Wyndemere. I LIKE IT. Why? He's a dull character otherwise. People are wondering when this change happened. It was when his mother died and I remember him telling his Dad he wanted "all in" to help destroy Sonny. Ergo, it's not out of left field. Lucas being in that Gothic Chamber with danger all around? Yes, please.
ANNA BANANA: Oh!! Our Anna has a room with a coffee machine and some tea. A couch and I'm thinking a bed and maybe a nice on-suite. We found out she's actually under Wyndemere because Pascal comes and offers her macrons left over from the Deception meeting.
PIERS MORGAN: Ha ha. No, he's not involved, I've just been thinking that when it's mentioned. Sidwell is buying the piers from a blackmailed Sonny and the Deception ladies are going to get their goods through there. I bet there's a lot more 'candy' coming in those boats as well! Sid kissed Lucy and...there it is.
THE DREW MESS: Ok, let's see if I can do this. Tracey was a suspect because she found him. Then Willow was arrested because they found the gun in her room. She was in jail, no bond until she wasn't. Then she hires Alexis but the PCPD is still working on other suspects to get 'bases covered'. Trina and Kai have been secretly talking about some ring tone they heard but then?? Not sure where that's going. THEN everyone thinks Michael planted the gun (plus he has a sketchy alibi) but Curtis gets arrested because he's seen with Selina Wu at his club. He made a false statement to police and gets locked up. BUT!! Wait, after months of 'investigation' they FINALLY CHECK TRAFFIC CAMERAS? Ok, I have to pause here because--come on, now. What WERE you doing all this time? (in a Chandler voice) Anyway, oh, they let Curtis out and find that Willow was driving in the 'vicinity' of Drew's place that night. Phew. I'm tired, ya'll. Just. Tired.
WEEPER OF A WILLOW: Holy hell-scape. Between NOT SEEING MY KIDS and I DIDN'T SHOOT YOU I want her so gone that she's never even mentioned again. "I love my kids"-- I don't like Drew but I have to marry him... because.. MY KIDS"!! Wiley is better off right now, girl. Luckily Amelia doesn't even know you yet so...
GUILTY: Yep, even Suzanne isn't buying her cry-baby act. PS I do love this actress and character.
PREGNANT PAUSE: Portia cramps, Isaiah finds out about the baby and Trina is FINALLY told by her own mother she's going to be a sibling. All you need to know is that the baby is ok, she needs bedrest and Curtis still has no clue that she slept with Isaiah.
NOOKIE: Yes, some nookie is to be had. Cartullo dress--looking straight out of Pretty Woman and strapless bra!! Nina walked in and hilarity ensued. One of my fave bundle of scenes of the week. It was pretty funny. Did Nina overreact? Sure did. Was it gold? Sure was!

Chase is all over defending and enabling Willow. How long until the affair starts?

I have a bad head cold so forgive me if I missed things. I'm just really REALLY wanting the Drew business stitched up and have him GET RID of that cane!! More Suzanne scenes... get Selina Wu back and Brad too. Also see: Do SOMETHING WITH NATHAN!! I mean, he's just there, acting like it's normal to come back from the dead. Not even a hint of a clue. Every time he goes to use the phone, I think "HERE IT IS"! and it turns out to be Nina. :eyeroll:

ReplyDeleteSo about those "mites". My friend has that eyelid disease and she kind of watches GH and was totally nuts over the fact that "mites" have nothing to do with said disease. I believe her as she is almost a medical professional but not really. That, on top of just why at all.
The zex in the office scenes were fun. Jacinda is likable and so cute.
Lucy/Sidwell is grossing me out.
Is GH skipping Christmas this year? Even though Thanksgiving was ridiculously long the holiday itself was barely there. Halloween was a nothing too. Less than two weeks out and not one sign of any festive behavior. Too busy being dark and stressful I guess.
Snow! We got about 4" so far today. First snow of the season with my new dog. She Loves it! Me too.
GH sets up great plots then fumbles on execution. Drews shooting, Nathan's return, Anna's kidnapping.
ReplyDeleteIm half convinced Nathan is being controlled by sidwell and we're not seeing it happen.His showing up when Laura had a body in her trunk was too big a coincidence and someone had to take the pictures.
Still no one investigating the judges death.
