GONNER: Again, just when she got some meat to act with, Eva LaRue is killed off in some accidental overdose. Great scenes with her obsessing over Sonny and then having a panic attack. But alas, she's gone. Yes, the character wasn't a great one but it COULD have been.
THE NEVER ENDING STORY: I have to SAVE MY FAMILY!! I have to PROTECT MY FAMILY! I need to MAKE THEM SAFE!! Should I stay or should I GO!!?? Another CHILD of MINE IS ALMOST KILLED! I CAN'T TAKE IT!! JFC. Neither can we. We all thought that maybe this time you'd really get out of it and Sidwell and Wu could take over that part of the show and it could be on the backburner 90% of the time. BUT ....NOPE!
SONNY'S QUESTIONED FOR THE 67,899TH TIME: You think they'll name that PCPD interrogation room after him when he dies? So Sidwell set Sonny up for the killing of Selina (Kinda) and since his bodyguards are there, he's hauled down to talk to that ADA lady. If I hadn't seen so many variations of her over the years, she might be interesting. Anyway, something something, Diane can't come and Turner wants Sonny to 'go off record' yada yada. Okay. Now what? Is he going to jail? Going undercover to get Sidwell? Boring the crap outta me? YEP!
WHAT THE ACTUAL WU: Are you thinking? I 100% know they know we love Selina Wu. To have her come on and CAVE to Sidwell? What in the hell? Even Jason knew she wouldn't sell Sonny out. BUT--welp!! Have her get on a plane and leave Port Charles because I guess we can't have nice things. BOO ON YOU, WE WANT OUR WU!
FIRE SAFETY: Did this girl ever have the PCFD come to her school because.. DERP. Honey, there's an EXIT RIGHT THERE-- you entered it. It's also funny that there was no furniture in the place and it seemed to open around 9pm. Just a really un-exciting 'tragic' event.
SPEEDO-GIO: Ok, we get it. He has a nice chest. I guess that's the summer vibe. Angry Gio walking around the pool then crying about his parentage. He has good chem with Emma and you'd think seeing them living together at Anna's might prove interesting. But.. NOPE!
DOGGO FUN: Best part of the show was Outback at The Garage Cafe. She even high-fived Emma! The next day, Rocco and Danny are there. I guess they read the file off camera because it would have been too good for us to see? Why? Why would you do that. Add it to the fact it came DAYS after they glanced at the file so if you missed it, you have no idea how they even GOT it. Brook Lyn never mentioned it being moved. There wasn't one word of dialog after he saw his name. Bizarre.
TEMP MAXIE: I think the only other person that has had as many subs was Chad Duell. So... hmmm. Anyway, here she is. Maxie. Someone said KS is back August 18th. Honest question: Do other soaps have 'temp recasts' ?? I may as well mention the "Sonny has dirty money" story because Maxie was a part of it. I guess Nat found out Sonny's second money infusion to Deception was tainted because of "accounting" and Brook and Tracey know. Tracey wants to run to the police. Brook is torn. I'm wondering why this is plopped in there on the tail end of things. Is it Sidwell that contrived this? Should we care?
SHE IS ALL OF US: Yep. Just that look. What are you doing here?
GOOD THINGS: Sidwell's realizing that Marco could have been killed in the fire he set. Willow not being a zombie face 24-7 and good scenes with Wiley/Michael. Drew was in DC (win-win) and... Lucas is cooking. Approved.
NOT SO GOOD THINGS: Natalia dying JUST when she got interesting (you could have waited for the finale on that one), Selia Wu leaving instead of telling Sonny, not seeing Rocco's reaction to the folder news about his birth-mother. Whatever the hell the Curtis/Portia/Jordan thing is and this damn pier business. NO ONE CARES.

-----Joss is laughable......I HOPE this Vaughn person IS someone realted to someone interesting and that it is NOT about Sonny...cause as everyone says - it's just sad that the only storyline for Sonny is mob/don't hurt my family/taking him down, etc.....watching the 2020 episodes when it was mostly about Mike (some Cyrus stuff) but then they go back to mob stuff.
Trina and Kai are incredibly boring, but I LOLed when Kai said, "I know what you're about to say" and Trina responded with, "Pro tip: when you think you know what a woman's about to say, let her say it".

Eva LaRue was totally wasted.
I was laughing at Joss saying she wanted to get high enough in the WSB to take Sonny down. Still laughing. She'd be better off just getting high. Her story with Mr. Garbage man is ridiculous.

I really wanted to be positive but it's a struggle with what they are presenting us these days.
We know they know we love Selina Wu, so I’m not sure what the he** this soap is doing!!! A Wu family would be much more appreciated than a Sidwell one (sorry, I know you like him but…). And you are so right on the Rocco thing as well. I saw him see his name, then nothing for days? No reaction to what’s inside? Brook Lynn doesn’t notice the super-secret file is just missing?? Whose job is it over there to ensure continuity is followed? Between these major gaps and the horrible editing lately, it’s like interns are running the show.
