As you may have seen, I'm out today. OH WHY-- oh WHY. My hairdresser works only 3 days a week so rescheduling is a nightmare. Why did I choose 2pm? WHO the hell knows...probably thought it wouldn't be a big deal.
WELL IT IS A BIG DEAL!!
Things I'm looking forward to this week:
Brook Lyn and Lois --If you're as old as I am you realize what choices made in the past can do to the future. It's going to be a hard look into what Lois decided along with Gram Travolta. She wanted to protect and love on Gio but kept that truth from Brook who wanted to do the right thing and then be able to move on with her life. Yikes. AND Ned was left out of it. Which I get, but ooooffff. Hard all the way around. Adoption can be a tricky touchy subject.
Brook Lyn and Dante: See above but he was the father-- do you tell or do what you think the best? Bodily autonomy. And yet...
NuMichael: HELLO!! Please be a little mean and just have the edge I want!!
ALL THE FALLOUT with the Q family!! AND I think I saw Lulu crying her face off in previews. GOOD. Maybe she should pay attention to her own kids for a bit.
I want Lulu's kids to leave her/not speak to her.

Brooky and Lois: Great scene!!!!!!!!!!!! When Brooky had her reaction to Lois's yes that Gio is her son, I had goosebumps!! I saw the hairs on my arms stand up in attention! :) Yeah I get that their cousin wanted a child so badly, that's fine, but when Gio's parents both died, then this was the time for Lois to tell the truth!
Brooky, Lois, and Dante: Poor Dante! Oh! Tracy texted Brooky to tell her that Gio is there at the Q mansion! Lois wanted to go too, but yeah that's not a good idea! Brooky agrees with me.

Tracy, Gio, and Emma: Tracy's face when Gio tells her the truth! When Tracy brought out a picture of Lila and Edward and talked about them, I cried!!! Oh Gio!!! Beautiful, sweet, loving Lila would have loved you so much!!!! You would have loved her too!!! I wante Tracy and Gio to hug! I love that when Gio was leaving with Emma, and Tracy told him to stay, that he stayed. :) Oh in comes Brooky and Dante!!!!

NuMichael, Wiley, Amelia aka Osaka Walnut, and Sasha: Whoa! Sasha is there! I did NOT see that coming! Oh and the Tribbles are happy to see NuMichael! :)
NuMichael and Wiley: Awwwwwwwww! So sweet. :) Wiley didn't want to go to sleep. His daddy says he will see him tomorrow. Wiley is surprised about that.
NuMichael and Sasha: NuMichael remembers what Sasha said about the baby. He hopes she has changed her mind. I hope so too! I kept saying to her change your mind!!!!!

Amanda Setton knocked it out of the park today. When Brook Lynn couldn't catch her breath out on the hotel patio, I believed every second of it. Very raw.

With the Gio reveal, I'm hoping the Qs get more airtime. Lots of fallout to deal with.

DeleteThe difference between Lois and Lulu is that the former recognizes what she did was wrong and the actress has layered her portrayal with so many facets that it's going to be easier for the audience to feel sympathy for her in time...whereas the latter seems to be cast out of her father's shadow, always right about everything. Even if she's "technically" right in the end, who wants to root for a know-it-all? Don't we already have that with Carly? The genes don't fall far from the tree.

DeleteReally not feeling Kai and Trina as a couple. I haven't seen anything to indicate they have a deep relationship or feelings for each other- doesn't help he's so boring lol. Emma and gio on the other hand, not even sure they're dating but I've seen the feelings/caring grow...and gio was boring till recently so Kai being boring isn't the reason he and Trina haven't made an impression lol

DeleteGio has come a long way since being the Metro Court pool Towel Boy last summer, both as a character and as an actor. He's going to go off to bigger things like Nicolas Chavez did, so it's great have him on GH now.
