This week's promo shows plenty of MOBULAR activity--which is something we were all hoping would be fading away at this juncture. NOPE! Charlie's is set on fire, Alexis yells at Sonny and Natalia is shown passing out (or dying??) I really would have liked to have seen ANY one of these happening:

Rocco--Charlotte--Danny (pick any kid) OR Gio and Emma "Summer on the Run" story. I was thinking it would be cool for Gio and Emma to be on a houseboat
RAva spending money wildly on super fantastic things and taking a REAL trip to anywhere on location
The Downfall of Drew in all it's spectacular Glory
Nikolas recast or same cast outta jail story ...trying to reclaim Wyndemere
Wu Empire with Gambling parlor and fun/crime stuff
Sonny trying to figure out how to just hang out and garden or start a TikTok cooking channel (ok, that's hokey but anything is better than the same ol)
More for Jordan to actually DO while being closer to Sidwell--so far nothing
Creepy, Crawly lab experiments are hinted at and get some complex anti-aging or cloning stuff going. Cell regeneration, Stem Cell stuff... I mean do SOMETHING with the spy stuff or cut bait.
Monica's decline needs to be happening, even if it's offscreen. She's going to consult a specialist and the family has to have an emergency meeting and pull together yada yada. That would set the stage for a memorial in the fall.
I mean there are a million things we could do. But, I'm just sitting on my butt in a chair far from anything 'real' in the writing world!!

Lol agree any of these stories wld be good to see. Seeing is key here bc this natalia us a drunk thing came outta nowhere. Coulda been good with actual set up and hints but seems like a ridiculous retcon of the character the way it's been done.

The christening coulda used some Tracy, amongst others who were conspicuously absent.

Portia is deaf and delusional.
I just read that Eva Larue is out. What a shame. A good actress that the writers could not do anything with. She started off badly and went downhill from there. Especially her recent return and character change.
All they can come up with is fire bombing. Kristina will make it and all she has done will be forgotten. Too bad for Charlie's.
If GH started in the past few years it probably wouldn't last 6 years never mind 60. Is it the writers or those who are in charge?
It is repetitive, dialogue and content. It is predictable, because it is repetitive. It needs something new and fresh. Who knows what. Maybe if TPTB read this blog they would have a chance. Karen...You should email it to FV. Couldn't hurt.
Observations and some complaints:
ReplyDelete-----Portia is horrible BUT at least today we KNOW which way her character is headed......she is now the britch/villian, etc....the fact that she admittted setting up Jordan was a shock (and PROUD of it) so now I need for Curtis to divorce her and say "Tell Trina what you did - we are done"

------well, we were wrong - Natalia is drunk/taking pills so I say coma and gone? But the bodyguard will KNOW someone didn't enter the room especially Sonny. I hate Chase working with Turner cause he's being disloyal to Anna but I like that Chase and Brook Lynn will have something to talk about besides babies...Turner is gorgeous but her character is like the others: Living on Fantasy Island thinking SHE can bring down Sonny.
-----Natalia's change of character is bizarre and proves stupid writers saw her character didn't work so let's hurry up and get her outta there.
----Previews: the woman says "when in a mob war, they never go after themselves, they go after family" (which isn't true) but SIdwell's people probably set the fire but NOW I am back to whoever is trying to kill SOnny IS WSB related - not Sidwell..

Anna's office:
Anna and Jordan: Jordan tells Anna she caught Curtis and Portia. Anna feels bad for her. Jordan says she should just let Curtis sort out his marriage. I'm glad Anna is there for her.
Anna and DA lady: They talk about Sonny, and the DA lady is calling out Anna for looking the other way! The DA lady is sharp as a tack! :) Anna says you are not my enemy. We are working together!!! New womenmance? :) Besties? :)
Carly's kitchen:
Larko: Lucas can't cook!!! Marco can! Marco made pasta and veggies. Where are the Tribbles?! Natalia is texting Marco making no sense!!! Lucas gives him advice! Maybe the Tribbles are at the Christening.
Outside the christening:
Natalia and Sonny: Man! Natalia is so delusional! She really thought Sonny was going with her and that they would be a couple!!! Where the hell was THIS Natalia?! I would have liked her a lot! Now it's too late! The writers completely ruined her! So basically:
Natalia: I thought we were in love and we were going to get married! We would move to Pennsylvania side of the river and be happy!!!!!
Inside the Christening: Baybay Daisy was Christened!!! Daisy Celeste!! Wait that's weird they didn't say her last name. What is her last name?! And it's also weird that Michael was there! Especially when Sasha doesn't want Michael to have anything to do with Daisy! The actor playing the priest is handsome. :) Where are Tracy, Olivia, and Ned? Where are the Tribbles?
Brase: Chase on the phone doing his job about Natalia, and Brooky overhears and confronts him. They argue a little, but they kiss. He can't tell her anything about the situation with Natalia.
Q mansion: Everyone is celebrating! Krissy had to go to Ritzy Charlie's because one of her coworkers is sick. She will miss the celebration. Since I saw the previews, oh oh.
Natalia's hotel room: Damn Natalia is drinking alcohol and taking her meds. What meds are these? Wow great scene. It's a shame that the writers totally ruined her right from the beginning! Is she dead? Or passed out? Is this suicide or accidental overdose? Well, Marco texted her telling her he is on his way!!!!
Ritzy Charlie's: Whoa! 2 people are putting gasoline inside!!!! Tribbles are you one of them?! Who are these 2 people?!! Then Krissy shows up and it's dark. She smells the gasoline!!! Someone threw a firebomb!!! FIRE FIRE FIRE FIRE FIRE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Krissy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Deleteokay just read her interview where she admits her character never worked but also that 'I realized my character wasn't long for this world'...........maybe she does die but that seems bizarre - the bodyguard is JUST right outside and continually knocks on her door.

Eva did an excellent job yesterday - good actress but wasted on this stupid storyline.
