This photo just took me out-- LOL.. the "aftermath" of baby-birth!! Drew, caught between 2 screaming mimis!! Oh, it was another wild week on this show!!

OH BABY!! Name that kid "Liberty"!!  (Justice is already taken) OR!! Maybe "Courtney"?? for born in Court? Oh, that's taken too! Oh! I know, name her "Daisy" after Sister of Sonny.  Yes, that was Courtney's stipper name.  Cute. Well, it was a wild birth--and fast. That baby is a month plus early and GIANT. LOL I mean...wow. She's on solid food!!  What's the best part of all this? Ric and his questions that led to Sasha admitting the baby was Michael's.  Good ol' courtroom soapy!!!

THE FACES OF ....WTF?  Probably the best viewing this week was watching allll the faces in the court. Just hilarious. Carly alone could have her own reel!! The most fun I've had in awhile. Even Diane was unhinged--gasping--yelling... gaping with her mouth open. Ric walked around like the cat that ate the canary. :Giggle: 

BABY MAMA DRAMA X2: Just to show that Willow is still that nice, 'sweet' gal underneath, she steps up to deliver her husband's baby. Hey, it's happened a million times on soaps but it never gets old, does it? Everyone beaming... awwww. Look at the baby to bring us all together!! Sasha even partially forgave Nina because she was just so damn happy that Daisy was okay. Gotta love it. 

IF YOU MISSED THE END:  of Friday's show, you didn't see the final scene. Willow and Michael were holding Amelia and Wylie while waving to Sasha. Drew comes up behind him and... has that look. The "OH NO, MusT Control My WomAn" look. 

BACK TO GIO:  Oh all of this went South for Lois and fast! Brook ended up throwing her out of the Q house and not even Grandma Gloria could save her. Gio also confronted his mother, grandmother and great-grandmother about his entire lie of a life and all the 2 Bensonhurst matrons could offer was "We did what we thought was best at the time". I think I heard that about 44x during this saga. Things haven't repaired themselves at all and Lulu's on the outs with everyone as well. OH! Except for her mother who took a minute to stop by and give her a hug. 

NOTES:  Tracey should have been there for the booting of Lois. It could have been gold. 

                                 

THE LADY REJECTS THE SUITOR:  Oh, Lucky. Oh, Elizabeth. Oh, audience. I guess JJ decided that a year was enough for his "giant return" and is going. That meant Elizabeth gave him a heartfelt lecture about love, life, home and hearth. He couldn't even take it. BYE, GIRL!! 

Aiden will have to bake a goodbye cake. Awww... I'll talk more about that exit later in the blog. 

FLAMBOOZLING LAURA: There's Laura. Just going around in a blazer to here and there with a concerned face. She visited Alexis about the 10 million dollars. Alexis pulled the wool over and told her about the 'investment'. Suzanne the secretary was the best part of all these scenes, wasn't she? Oh! Marco seems to know something is up with the account and thinks Alexis is caught up in something nefarious..DUN DUN DUN.

PUKER UP AND BLOW:  Natalia, who's not been seen for MONTHS it seems, suddenly is chugging vodka and getting arrested. WELP!! There you go... I guess this is her next adventure? ADA Turner is going to have her spy on Sonny I guess. *sigh* when can we get PAST THE SONNY TAKE-DOWNS? WHEN?? Just sell the biz to Ms. Wu and MOVE ON!!!! 

THE TOAST:  TO Britt they said!! Anvil? You betcha.  Why Molly would be anywhere near the pool where her baby died is beyond me but maybe I'm just sensitive! PS. Cody's haircut looked good. 

SHORT HAIR DON'T CARE!! LOVEEEEEE this cut on Maxie. She looks years younger. I've always loved the vest but this combo? :Clapping: 

POOL CREW: I know a lot of people scoff at the pool set but I like it. Sorry. I'm sick of the Metro dining room!! I really like that GH gave a shout out to the set people on this. They deserve to be seen.

NEWS:   

It broke that KT is coming back to GH. With the Britt toast on Friday, I'm assuming she's back AS Britt. There's been speculation that she might be back as a new character. I LOVE Kelly--I LOVED Britt and with rumoring that Dr O is also coming you'd think I'd be happy. NOPE. Why? I am SICK of characters being written off as "Dead" (as opposed to missing) and given a really heart wrenching goodbye we see WITH OUR OWN EYES only to be brought back from the dead. This has cheapened deaths for years on soaps. It was a stunt that worked when this kind of thing was fresh and a bit 'shocking' (see Tina coming into the wedding on OLTL) but now? TIRED. I really think if there's an INKLING you'll bring them back, just write them off. Britt had the best excuse--go to Europe for Huntington's Treatment. 

If she IS a NEW character--um, how did that work out the last bazillon times you've tried it? It sucks. Period. I will watch and judge when the time comes but using GH as some revolving door pisses me off. 

SPEAKING OF-- well, well, well...less that a year has gone by and JJ is running out again. Thought he signed a multi-year contract?? If it was known he'd be a short-timer then tell us. He could have been on for Lulu's Liver and that was it. This whole "Loving Liz" and "working at Charlie's" settling down crap was just that...crap.  Put that together with JJ's obvious cushy damn shooting schedule and the whole thing was a giant waste of time. There, I said it. Remember when we needed a temp Lucky because JJ wouldn't fly in due to the wildfires? He didn't even bother to sing for the Nurses Ball. So, glad you made some money to go do what you're going to do now (tour). See ya. Please, don't use us again.

CAN YOU TELL I'm a bit angry? LOL.. yep. I mean, the show is still doing gang-busters as far as I'm concerned. The WSB junk better pick up soon though because that feels like a flop already. I'm counting on Emma and Anna to save it all. I didn't even bother to include it in the body of the blog today because...snoozah. One more note: They should have Robert retire from the position of DA. He's not on anymore and if he comes back, he can just 'pop in' to visit now and then. 

THAT'S IT!! I have a feeling they can't keep this pace up much longer but who knows. Nina's tryst with Drew has to come out as does Drew paying off German Lady to keep Willow out. Hmmmm... we shall see!!
