Bye Lee

HELLO Serena! Yeah for Scotty and Lucy. Why can't this be the whole show?  Serena shows them photos of Lee in Florida with her and Gail. She can cry really well.  Laura comes over later.  Scotty is all upset that he didn't tell Lee he loved him more. Laura says he knew.  She leaves (that was a blink)

Sonny tells Kiki he's got sole custody of Avery. Neener Neener... I love Kiki's dress. She says this to Sonny:
DEEP down I KNOW AVERY IS BETTER OFF WITH YOU AND CARLY!!

OMG I hate this show sometimes.
At the end, Kiki brought Avery to visit Ava but she's scared of her face. Ava never wants to see Avery again.

Ava dreams her face is perfect--but she's arrested by Dante. She wakes up...and Dante walks in!  She's not confessing.
Dante goes to Sonny and says the case is circumstantial. The DA won't bring a case against her. Sonny's pissed.

Stupid MAN LANDERS is going Cyrano de Bergerac on us. Oh HOW FUNNNYYYY get it? Amy will be the one REALLY answering the questions while Nate listens in an ear piece. :eyeroll: He goes off script. It's stupid. Later, they offer him a real job on the podcast for good money.

Alexis and Valentin in the park.  I guess Spencer is suing him? YES! Civil suit for killing Nikolas! ahaha

Best Scene: Spencer goes to visit Ava to tell her he knows what it's like to be scared about being burned!! Awww so nice and genuine! They talk about Nikolas a bit and how much they miss him.  Spencer wants her to testify that Valentin killed Nikolas. She says I will..he was a hero.

END: Valentin vows to "take care of Spencer" himself.
Photo of Peter Hansen. No flashbacks. Sad horn.

AWWWWW
Lisa LoCicero and Daugher on vacation!

Absolutely pathetic. The entire show should have been centered around the memory of Lee - although I would also keep the Spencer/Ava scenes (what a gem). This shows just how much ABC cares about the history of this show. A true slap in the face for veterans and veteran viewers.

Screw Sonny Corinthos...blah. Hasn't the network learned by now that we are tired of being force-fed Sonny & Co.?

Man Landers: ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

"Karen says Later, they offer him a real job on the podcast for good money."

What is Amy going to do now?!!?!?!

The floating rib:

Spencer and Laura: Great scene! Laura wins the line of the day.

Laura: Well I don't think you want to get Chandler fired do you?

ROFL!

The hospital/Ava's room: Hey Ava's left side of her face is better..

Ava and Spencer: Awww great scene!!! Wait a second! Spencer you promised no detours!!! :)

Ava and Dante: Blah blah blah.

Ava, Kiwi, and Avery: Awwww poor little girl is scared. I wonder if in real life the little girl was scared.

The park:

Alexis and V.C.: Great scene!!!

Alexis, Laura, and Spencer: Another great scene!! Love it!!!

V.C.: Oh oh. What is he going to do to Spencer?

Metrocourt hotel:

Sonny and Kiwi: I don't get what the point of Sonny telling Kiwi that he is going to keep his sister. I love Kiwi's dress and the lipstick on her is great! So perfect on her. :)

Sonny and Dante: Blah blah blah. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. I miss Pilly!

Scotty's room:

Scotty, Serena, and Lucy: SAREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEENNNAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!! So good to see you!!!! Wow Serena looks just like her bio mother Dominique! :) Lucy is right. When Scotty fell in love with Dominique, he changed.. And then when she died, he went right back to the bitter scheming Scotty. :) When there was a knock on the door, I thought it was either Gail or Christina Baldwin! Oh it's Laura!! Awwww Laura. :( The scene was so sad. :( This is the tribute though? Where is more of the flashbacks?!!?!?! If they aren't going to give Lee a tribute, then I will on my blog!!! I love the little tribute and photo at the end for Peter Hansen. Awwww. :(

I hate to nit pick, but doesn't anyone proof the show before they broadcast? Yesterday, Scott walked into the other room and was there when Serena came in. Today he was in the same room as Lucy. Spencer was going to camp but instead we see him all of a sudden at GH with Ava. Dante visits Ava with a scruffy face and in the next scene he was with Sonny clean shaven. That being said, it was criminal to have this Man Landers crap on the day Lee Baldwin should have been the focus. And really sickening that Sonny got custody of Avery and Kiki was all for it. Ava is her mother regardless of what she did to Morgan, like Sonny hasn't done a million worse things.

** So for the past week or so, Sonny has been going on and on to Carly and Jason about how he's going to quit the mob entirely, and do everything legally from now on. So today when he told Dante he was getting out of "some parts of the business" . Which pretty much said to me that he doesn't give a damn about anyone else really, he's still gonna find a way to do what he said he would no longer be doing.

K, I think when Sonny said to Dante he was going to get out of "some parts of the business" he meant the illegal parts. He didn't want to say "illegal," which could compromise Dante, but he was saying he would get out of the illegal parts of the business and keep the other parts.

I was hoping and praying for more flashbacks with Lee, Scotty and others, and was greatly disappointed. We have so many vets available, they could have showed Lucy, Gail, Laura, Sarena, et al. in flashbacks with Lee, WHY DIDN'T THEY DO IT??

I liked the Baldwin scenes - you can tell that Kin and Lynn still have a lot of love for Carly and they were genuinely happy to have her on set. I liked that Laura dropped by too, but wish that Kevin could have been with her. He and Serena also have history and it would have been cool.
- Yes, it did need more flashbacks
- Yes, we did need more screentime with the Baldwins

RIP Lee!

** You may be right. Up until then, when talking with Jason and Carly and such about his plans, it sounded to me like his intentions were to get out of everything he had/was involved in right now, and then going in a new direction entirely. I.E. putting the restaraunt up for sale, and wanting to buy the old building and remodel it with Jason. (Who had the good sense to tell him HELL NO, even if everything were legal and on the up and up, EVERYONE would just think it's a front for the mob.) So when Sonny was telling Dante that he planned to get out of `parts of the business' it sounded to me like he was now saying that instead of just starting completely fresh in a new direction, he will still be involved in some stuff. If he actually is able to go completely legit, I will be impressed (and shocked)

** I was too, but I wasn't very surprised that what they did end up doing looked to me more like it was done as an afterthought, and not a loving tribute to a man that was a VERY important and vital person to the history of GH. ONE 30 second flashback, over the course of 2 episodes just came off as if noone in the production team gave a damn really, to me. Which makes something I read earlier this week in what was either the latest SOD or SiD, concerning the the "tribute" all the more embarrasing, really. I can't remember name specifics atm, but the article can be found in the latest issue. The gist was essentially that there was one person on the production team that was told to spend a few days going through the archives and watching episodes to get an idea of who Lee was, and how things fit in. Because if that's all we got for a tribute (parts of two episodes), it really came across as embarassing and well, pathetic. I am VERY grateful for what we DID get with Scotty, Lucy and Serena (and then later Laura for a few minutes). But by no means did these two episodes even begin to express just how important and beloved that Peter Hansen was to GH. Especially for those of us who've been watching GH since the 70s.

Yes, if they want the history, they should ask the fans, WE will tell them EVERYTHING they want to know.

YES!!!! We sure will!!!! :)

They only have to google "GH characters history" and pages will come up to show them the history and past relationships of everyone on the show.

** It just feels like they don't really give a shit about this type of stuff anymore, really.

** The fact that there isn't anyone on staff that actually knows the show's history is just sad, IMO.
