Kirsten Storms is out again...

Daytime Confidential is reporting that Kirsten is again taking a leave from General Hospital due to personal reasons. I was actually wondering where she was -- so, there it is.

I hope she takes care of herself this time. It's been obvious something has been wrong for a long time. I look forward to having our Maxie back, wish Kirsten the very best.

Since the actor who plays Nathan is off for a couple of months, they should write them a long honeymoon to France, or something.

I have not gotten any enjoyment out of the Maxie scenes for about 3 months now. She just does not look good to me. The makeup department hasn't helped her, imo, with that brown blush and awful lipstick shades.

I wish Kirsten the best, and I hope she is able to pull herself together. It's hard to watch someone lose their sparkle, especially when it's someone you've watched grow up.

Her eyes look vacant. Very disturbing.

Hope she is ok. Looks like Brandon has Harper full time. She just hasn't been or looked like herself for quite a while.

** I'd been wondering about her myself. Though with Jelly, just because someone isn't seen on screen for a lengthy time, doesn't necessarily mean something is wrong. I am glad she's taking some time away to hopefully get better. Since her health is definitely the first priority. I'd wondered if the issues were triggered by stress, as it definitely can be a contributing factor. I thought maybe it was stress from the divorce that was a big factor, but it sounds like that isn't the case. Hopefully she will be better soon!

I agree about the Jelly thing.

** The way they write stuff, it can be REALLY hard to try and figure out what the status of some people are, or just how they're actually done. When people suddenly disappear for several months, with no mention on screen, or word about how the actors are in their lives. And then they will show up for just a few scenes over one or two days, and disappear back into the void.

** I don't want one either. I'd much rather they write around her absence. As much as she tried, when Molly Burnett filled in for Kirsten last time, she just didn't work, IMO. Which is kind of ironic for me, in a way. I'd known Kirsten from DAYS for years where she played Belle, before Robyn Richards had been fired and Kirsten replaced her. Even though I liked her on DAYS, it took me some time to accept her in the role, and then actually really like her in it.

Oh no. :( Well, she hasn't been looking very healthy. :( I wonder how long she will be out for? Will Maxie be temporarily recast? Can we get Jen Lilly in the role?
